Ingleside president, CEO to retire
Ingleside’s President and CEO Lynn O’Connor will retire on May 7, 2027.
O’Connor’s start in the aging services profession began in 1980 as an administrator in training at a Maryland nursing home and hospice; beginning her lifelong passion for serving others, according to a press release.
“Leading Ingleside has been an extraordinary capstone of my career,” O’Connor said in the release. ““It is a privilege to stand with the Ingleside family and experience the authenticity, strength and transparency of our culture and ARISE values.”
Nonprofit life plan community names president, CEO
Meadowood, a nonprofit life plan community, has named Tom Hecker as its next president and CEO, effective Nov. 2.
He succeeds Paul Nordeman, who will retire following nearly 20 years of leadership and service to the Meadowood community, according to a press release.
Hecker brings “extensive” experience to the position, the release states. He currently serves as vice president for administration and chief of staff at Penn Medicine Health Systems, supporting executive leadership across clinical and administrative operations. He previously held leadership roles at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, according to the release.
Lenbrook announces leadership change
Lenbrook, an intown community for engaged senior living, announced its CEO Chris Keysor will retire at the end of the year.
As part of this transition, Lenbrook has promoted Chief Operating Officer Felecia Sveda to president and CEO, effective Oct. 19, a press release states.
Sveda joined Lenbrook in 2006 and has served as chief operating officer since 2022. Her newest appointment is “the culmination of a deliberate, multi-year succession process focused on ensuring strong leadership continuity for Lenbrook’s future,” the release states.
Anthem appoints executive director
Anthem Memory Care has appointed Julia Milne as executive director of Porter Place, its community in Tinley Park, Illinois.
In this role, she will oversee all care, operations and programming, a press release states.
Milne brings over 17 years of experience to the position. She previously served as executive director for Ciel at Plainfield in Plainfield, Illinois, and she was also senior executive director for Sunrise Senior Living, where she was responsible for stepping in the executive director role at multiple communities in the country, according to the release.
Connecticut CCRC names plant operations director
Meadow Ridge, a continuing care retirement community in Redding, Connecticut, named Patrick Boelens as its next plant operations director.
In this role, Boelens is responsible for the smooth operations and maintenance of the entire campus, according to a press release.
Boelens joined Meadow Ridge with leadership experience in plant operations from The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Peekskill, New York, the release states.
