National Senior Campuses Names First CEO

National Senior Campuses (NSC) has named Bruce Beardsley, as its first-ever CEO.

NSC’s board created the role as part of its strategy for the 16 communities it governs in a business relationship with Erickson Living, which develops and manages the communities.

Beardsley, who officially stepped into the role on Oct. 1, has over 25 years of business development and management experience. In addition to serving on the Board of National Senior Campuses, he served as chair of Lantern Hill in New Providence, New Jersey.

Watercrest Names Sales Specialist

Watercrest Senior Living Group has named Carlos Keith to the role of sales specialist.

In his new role, Keith will support sales and marketing for all of Watercrest’s senior living communities. More specifically, he will support community sales efforts, help coach and onboard new community relations directors and prepare new community sales offices.

Keith has more than a decade of experience in senior living.

Pegasus Names Executive Director for Louisiana Community

Pegasus Senior Living is welcoming Matt Ritter as the new executive director of Laketown Village, an assisted living and memory care community in Kenner, Louisiana.

Ritter has worked in the senior living industry for more than 10 years, and has worked as executive director of assisted living and memory care communities in Texas since 2016.

Healthcare Management Partners Adds Managing Director

Healthcare Management Partners (HMP) has hired Don Bivacca as a managing director.

In his new role, Bivacca is tasked with furthering the management practice of HMP’s skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. He has held leadership positions at companies including Capella Health, LifePoint Health, and HCA over his three-decade career.

Florida Community Names Assisted Living, Memory Care Director

Amavida, a senior living community in Fort Myers, Florida, named Catherine Cruikshank-Eberle as its director of assisted living and memory care.

In her new role, Cruikshank-Eberle will oversee the community’s assisted living and memory care wings.

Cruikshank-Eberle has more than two decades of experience in assisted living and dementia. She previously worked as director of education for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Singh Appoints Resident Care Manager, Memory Care Coordinator

Singh Senior Living has named Maria Cressida R. Manalo as the new resident care manager and Megan Mastre as the new memory care coordinator at Waltonwood Ashburn, a community in Ashburn, Virginia.

Manalo most recently worked as a director of nursing service, while Mastre was the director of health and wellness. Both have years of experience working in the senior living industry.

In their new positions at Waltonwood, Manalo will build strong long-term relationships with the assisted living and memory care residents, while Mastre will manage all memory care units and serve as the frontline person for residents, the medical staff and memory care team members.

WesleyLife Welcomes Vice President of Philanthropy, Finance Leader

WesleyLife has hired Conrad Hanson as a controller and Charles “Chad” Vogel as its first-ever vice president of philanthropy.

Hanson comes to WesleyLife from UnityPoint, where he served as a regional finance director.

Vogel, meanwhile, has more than 20 years of fundraising experience. He most recently worked as vice president of philanthropy and community engagement for YSS, a youth services organization.

Chevy Chase House Hires Three, Including Executive Director

Chevy Chase House, a Meridian Senior Living community in Washington, D.C., has hired Nicki Beekman as executive director, Kimberly Clynes as director of nursing and Ceridwen Kelley as assistant director of nursing.

Beekman has more than eight years of experience in the senior living industry, having previously worked as executive director of an assisted living community in Pennsylvania.

Clynes, meanwhile, has 10 years of geriatric nursing and clinical administration experience, while Kelley has long worked as a clinician, with a focus in long term care and geriatric services.

Evergreen Woods Adds Wellness Director

Evergreen Woods, a Maxwell Group community in North Branford, Connecticut, has named Maureen Terwilliger as its wellness director.

Terwilliger has many years of experience supporting others in reaching their wellness goals.

Greystone Adds Managing Director to Senior Housing Team

Greystone has hired Tyler Armstrong as a managing director with its senior housing lending team.

Armstrong has more than 11 years of experience in the seniors housing lending industry, previously working as a senior vice president with BOK Financial.

Armstrong will report to Cary Tremper, a Greystone managing director based in Dallas.
