AI solutions provider Inspiren has announced a new fundraise totaling $70 million and plans to use the funds to further scale its AI platform and advancing its hardware systems.
The latest round now puts the company’s valuation at more than $500 million, according to a press release. It was led by NewView Capital with participation from Insight Partners, Primary Venture Partners, Scale Venture Partners, Vintage Investment Partners, Lightbank, Avenir Growth Capital, Story Ventures and Camber Creek.
With the funding round concluded, Inspiren’s total funding has now reached $225 million.
“A decade from now, no one will accept that a resident’s needs could go unknown behind a closed door. We are already making that unthinkable in the communities we serve, and this funding puts it within reach for many more,” Michael Wang, founder and chief clinical officer of Inspiren, said in the release.
The plan with the funding when it comes to continuing development of its AI platform will expand what its models can detect, predict and act on across every setting in a community, according to the release.
Immediate next steps include further advancements of the AI ecosystem and deepen integrations with all major electronic health record platforms, Wang told Senior Housing News.
“We’re committed to giving our senior living partners the best clinical and technical resources available,” Wang told SHN. “There’s no fixed timeline for deploying the funds — we’re already moving on an aggressive product roadmap spanning both hardware and software advancements.”
Inspiren has a presence in 80% of the largest senior housing investors, including AEW and Sabra Healthcare REIT, and is used by operators including Arrow Senior Living, Ascent Living Communities, Heritage Communities, Thrive Senior Living and Wellpointe, the release states.
Other accolades include Inspiren being named to Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026, ranking 12th worldwide in the healthcare category, and was included on Inc.’s 2026 Best Workplaces List.
In August, the company released “Two-Way Voice and Alert Claiming” as part of its e-call system, allowing team members to “know in the first seconds after a resident calls for help what is happening, what the resident needs and who is responding,” the release states. The new system is still rolling out in phases across the communities utilizing Inspiren.
