Thrive Senior Living On Track for Spring Opening at New Jersey Community

Thrive Senior Living is on track to open a new community this spring in Montvale, New Jersey.

The community, Thrive at Montvale, is slated to have 203 apartments with an onsite small-house memory care neighborhood. Planned amenities include two pickleball courts, a bocce ball court, fitness studio, cinema and an art studio.

Affordable Senior Housing Project Poised to Start Work in Maryland

Construction is slated to begin soon on a new affordable senior housing community in Sandy Spring, Maryland.

The adaptive reuse project is turning three existing buildings on the site into a campus with 56 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes for residents aged 62 and older and earning between 40% and 60% of the area’s median income. The community includes a newly designed “pocket park” serving residents and adjacent neighbors.

KCG Development is managing the project. Other project partners include Moseley Architects, Commercial Construction, Christopher Consultants, Avens + Heath, Lerch, Early & Brewer, Pando Alliance and Winthrop and Weinstine.

Cadence Living Expands in Arizona

Cadence Living, Harbert Management Group and Global Senior Housing have announced the grand opening of a new 191-unit senior living community in Chandler, Arizona.

The community, Cadence Chandler, is slated to have amenities such as multiple dining venues and lounges, a swimming pool, bocce ball court, spa, movie theater and a library.

Drive Development Partners aided the project by providing development consulting services, while Thoma-holec Design handled the interior design, Hardison-Downey was general contractor and Whitneybell Perry provided architectural services.

Revel Community in California Now Open

Revel Communities, which is a division of The Wolff Company, has opened a new community in Folsom, California.

The community includes amenities such as themed dining venues, a heated, saltwater indoor pool and an on-site market.

This is the brand’s third location in the state in two years.

Florida Community Managed by Solvere Now Open

A new assisted living memory care community operated by Solvere Living has opened in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The community, Sunscape Daytona Beach, includes amenities such as a terrace designed for dining and entertaining, bocce ball court, a movie theater and walking trails.
