Construction Underway for $140 Million Life Plan Community in Colorado
Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America (PMMA) has broken ground on a new life plan community in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The community, Aberdeen Ridge, is slated to have 235 units for independent living, assisted living and memory care residents. The community plans to charge a monthly fee of about $3,650 with an entrance fee of approximately $375,000 for new residents.
The community is expected to open in 2023. Greystone Communities is on board to manage the community when it opens.

Revel Community Now Open in Southern California
The Wolff Company has announced the completion of its first Revel Communities project in Southern California, Revel Palm Desert in Palm Desert.
The community has 163 apartments and cottages for residents, all with oversized windows, full kitchens, washers and dryers, walk-in closets and private patios. Amenities include an outdoor pool, pickleball court, game lawn, dog park, spa and salon, art studio, a fitness studio and multiple dining venues offering everything from pub fare to ice cream.
Revel partnered with Private Label International on the project’s interior design.
Anthology Senior Living to Open Ohio Community
Anthology Senior Living is slated to hold a grand opening on Jan. 27 for its fourth community in Ohio.
The four-story community, Anthology of Blue Ash, includes 200 units for independent living, assisted living and memory care residents, with amenities such as a salon and barbershop, indoor pool, fitness center, golf simulator and an outdoor recreation area with a bocce ball court and putting green.
New Perspective Opens Indiana Community
New Perspective is now welcoming residents at Woodland Terrace of Danville, a 164-unit senior living community in Danville, Indiana.
The community offers cottages and townhomes, independent living, assisted living and memory care options for residents, with amenities that include restaurant-style dining venues, a wellness and fitness center, gardens and a salon.
Willow Valley Communities Food Hall to Open Jan. 27
Renovations are complete at Southern Market, a new food hall operated by Willow Valley Communities across the street from its planned 146-unit Mosaic senior living highrise in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The food hall is opening to the public Jan. 27 with 10 chef restaurateurs. Willow Valley Communities partnered on the project with Lancaster Equity, the non-profit collaborative that owns Southern Market, and Assets, which is on board to lend support and training.
Florida CCRC Opens Health Center
Shell Point, a retirement community in Fort Myers, Florida, recently completed the addition of a $78 million health center.
The health center includes a medical center, behavioral health suite, rehabilitation center, dental offices, pharmacy and a 180-bed skilled nursing facility with private rooms. The center also includes a full-service pharmacy, chapel, meeting space and cafe.
Construction on the project began in 2019. Project partners include RDG Planning & Design, Wegman Design Group, The Weitz Company, Johnson Engineering, Stantec Consulting Services and Fiber Solutions.
