Consulate Health Care Names New CEO, COO
Consulate Health Care, a post-acute health care services provider, announced the promotion of Chris Bryson to CEO.
Bryson previously served as COO under the leadership of Bill Mathies. He joined Consulate in the fall of 2015 with the goal of repositioning Consulate within the industry and its local communities.
“Chris has been in key leadership positions in post-acute companies for a couple of decades,” Mathies said in a news release. “His experience, combined with his body of work at Consulate, provides a well-matched set of skills for the future needs of the company. He is not only intimately aware of our strengths and weaknesses as a health care company, but he has established a very strong relationship with our management team, which contributes to my confidence that Consulate will continue to strengthen and grow under his leadership.”
Additionally, Consulate appointed Todd Mehaffey as COO. He formerly served as the Florida division president for the company.
Mathies will remain involved with Consulate as executive chairman to facilitate the leadership transition, provide strategic counsel to Bryson, and be available to investors and business partners as needed.
Consulate Health Care specializes in post-acute care, with services ranging from comprehensive short-term rehabilitation to Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
