The Village of Redford Names Jennifer Sutter, NHA Assistant Administrator for Skilled Nursing

The Village of Redford has announced that Jennifer Sutter has joined the retirement community’s management team as Assistant Administrator for Skilled Nursing. Part of Presbyterian Villages of Michigan, The Village of Redford, located at Six Mile Road and Beech Daly in Redford, is home to over 300 men and women at least 62 years of age and provides independent living along with assisted living and skilled nursing housing options.

A graduate of Central Michigan University’s Business Administration program, Ms. Sutter holds a Nursing Home Administrators License. She has worked in Macomb County’s health care industry for over a decade, most recently as Director of Hospitality and Community Benefit Officer at Sanctuary at Fraser Villa in Fraser. Prior to Sanctuary at Fraser Villa, she served as Director of Marketing for Harbor Oaks Hospital and then Alterra Healthcare.

 

Dr. Linda Rosenstock Joins Skilled Healthcare Group’s Board of Directors

Skilled Healthcare Group, Inc.(NYSE:SKH) has announced the appointment of Linda Rosenstock, M.D., M.P.H. to the Company’s Board of Directors. Dr. Rosenstock will be a Class II director with a term expiring in 2012 and will serve as a member of the Corporate Governance, Quality and Compliance Committee. This appointment increases the number of directors to nine.

Over a distinguished career, Dr. Rosenstock has held many positions of leadership and received numerous accolades for her achievements. Since November 2000, Dr. Rosenstock has served as the Dean of the UCLA School of Public Health and holds appointments as Professor of Medicine and Environmental Health Sciences. Prior to joining UCLA, Dr. Rosenstock was the director of theNational Institute for Occupational Safety and Health for nearly seven years where she received the Presidential Distinguished Executive Rank Award, the highest executive service award in the government.

 

Marvin Rosenberg of Skokie Joins Marketing Office at Karmel CJE’s Continuing Care Retirement Community in Deerfield

Marvin Rosenberg of Skokie was recently named Marketing Counselor at CJE SeniorLife’s Karmel campus in Deerfield. With the addition of Rosenberg, CJE now has a full marketing and sales team in place at Karmel, the first Jewish sponsored continuing care retirement community in the Chicago area, scheduled to open in 2012.

Rosenberg brings 38 years of sales, management and strategic planning experience to the position. He most recently served as director of development for Hebrew Theological College in Chicago for the past 11 years. Rosenberg has previously worked for Shalom Park, the Anti-Defamation League – Mountain States Region, and Group One Broadcasting Company, all located in Denver.

He holds a B.S. in speech with a concentration in radio and television from Kent State University, in Kent, Ohio.
