LCS hires national director of business development
LCS, one of the country’s largest senior living providers and developers, announced that Lesley Vogels has joined the company as national director of business development.
In her role, Vogels will join LCS VP of National Business Development David Mercugliano to focus on efforts that support the LCS family of companies.
She brings nearly three decades of experience to the new role with experience in sales, clinical and strategy with success in identifying growth, revenue and operational success. She previously served as the VP of sales at Paragon Rehabilitation before working as Therapy Management Corporation, HealthPro Heritage.

Grow Your Occupancy announced Danielle Merlino was recently promoted to chief operating officer (COO), having previously served as the vice president of strategic development.
She brings over two decades of experience in her new role and she’s worked previously at Jaybird Senior Living, AlerisLife, Provision LIving, Peterson Health Care and Lutheran Life Communities.

Silver Birch Living announced Cathy Vasil as the executive director of the community Silver Birch at Cook Road.
With two decades of health care experience, she worked directly with senior living residents across 15 communities and previously served as a wellnes coordinator managing a small pediatric family practice.

Erickson brings over 15 years of construction experience to the role and is a previous business owner from creation to sale of two business ventures.
Chester previously worked in real estate development and construction with a focus on senior housing development and construction management.

Architecture and design firm Perkins Eastman announced John Shoesmith has joined the company as principal in its Seattle studio and is now part of the team’s international senior living practice.
Bringing over three decades of experience, Shoesmith has previously worked across the continuum in senior living.
