Kisco Senior Living unveils second Northeast community

Kisco Senior Living recently announced its latest addition to its Signature lifestyle brand with the new community The Fitzgerald of Palisades.

The project is set to open in the fall of next year and is the second community in the Washington D.C. area for Kisco. The boutique community will be located in a historic Palisades neighborhood with plans for a full-continuum of care with luxury amenities.

Personalized amenities include concierge services and fine dining along with casual restaurants with locally-sourced menus. The community will offer a wellness program with group fitness and special events and other activities. Other amenities include a saltwater pool, fitness club, yoga studio and spa.

Care services include an on-site nursing and wellness-monitoring program, on-site physical therapy clinic, 24-hour emergency response system and access to dietician services.

The Commons in Lincoln to expand

After netting public approval, the Commons in Lincoln CCRC will now embark on an expansion project.

The addition will bring 28 new IL apartment homes and cottages along with more parking and added amenities to address increasing demand. Expansion as part of the project includes upgrades to expanded dining and programming along with an affordable housing initiative.

The project is set to break ground in the fall of next year with occupancy expected in the new united in 2026.

Experience Senior Living starts construction in Colorado

Experience Senior Living recently announced the start of construction of a new community in Fort Collins, Colorado, according to a news release from the company.

The project, known as The Gallery at Fort Collins, will offer 144 units across a four-story, 137,804 square-foot community. It also marks the third Experience Senior Living community in Colorado.

The Gallery at Fort Collins, an Experience Senior Living community, has commenced construction.

The community will offer a range of amenities including a two-story grand hall with a fireplace and grand piano. Other amenities include a pub, rooftop garden, family dining space, multiple courtyards, library, community room, salon and theater. As part of the project, memory care residents will have access to a dedicated courtyard with an activities area.

The project was designed by Vaught Frye Larson Architects, with Experience Senior Living also teaming up with Nuveen Real Estate and Brinkmann Constructors.

The Alpert Group breaks ground on New Jersey project

The Alperty Group recently marked the start of construction on the West Orange Senior Housing Community in Essex County, New Jersey.

The affordable senior living community will offer 54-units and include five permanent units for homeless residents.

Financial partners on the project include New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, Enterprise Community Partners, TD Bank, Essex County, and The Township of West Orange.

Morning Pointe at Happy Valley now open

Residents are now moving into Morning Pointe at Happy Valley, with the occasion marked by a grand opening celebration.

The community is located in Walker County, Georgia. The campus offers 58 AL units and 24 memory care units as part of the community redevelopment of the historic 300-acre Happy Valley Farms property.

The project marks the 38th Morning Pointe Senior Living community and the second campus in Georgia for the company. Amenities include an on-site beauty salon, library, three courtyards and screened-in porches. The campus will also feature Morning Pointe’s farm-to-table program with local, farm-fresh and seasonal ingredients informing dining at the community.
