DHC appoints president, CEO

Diversified Healthcare Trust announced on Nov. 17 the appointment of Christopher Bilotto as president and CEO effective Jan. 1, 2024.

Bilotto is executive vice president of The RMR Group overseeing portfolio management for office, industrial and retail properties managed by the company, hotel and senior living management and development and redevelopment across the country.

Bilotto is succeeding Jennifer Francis, who is retiring Jan. 1, 2024.

RUI promotes two on sales team

Retirement Unlimited, Inc. has announced the promotions of Noris Sanchez and Zsavonne Perryman to its sales leadership team.

Sanchez has been promoted to senior director of sales and has been with RUI since 2021, where she served as the sales and community relations director at Paul Spring. Sanchez has been involved in the senior living industry for 17 years, six of which were in sales.

Perryman has been promoted to the position of regional director of sales and business development. She has been with RUI since 2018, serving as the director of sales and community relations at The Hidenwood Community. In January she was promoted to senior director of sales and community relations. Before joining RUI, Perryman worked in public relations, serving as an associate account executive and social media strategist.

Distinctive Living names chief sales and marketing officer

Distinctive Living has appointed Angela Clark as its chief sales and marketing officer.

In her role, Clark will be responsible for growing a brand presence in Distinctive Living’s communities, establishing a “differentiated” level of care and ensuring the company’s sales and marketing teams “recognize what sets their communities apart.”

Clark brings 25 years of operational experience to the position, with involvement in sales and marketing, sales training and development, operational strategy, multi-site management, strategic planning and new product development.

Life Care Services promotes SVP, director of operations

Life Care Services, a LCS Company, has announced the promotion of Kyle Exline to senior vice president, director of operations management.

In his role, Exline will assume responsibility for the strategy and operations of 18 LCS equity-owned life plan communities and oversee a team of operations and regional marketing and sales professionals.

Exline has been with LCS since 2008 and has had an “impressive impact” on occupancy, operations improvement, development and building strong teams.

LCB appoints new executive director for The Residence at Bala Cynwood

The Residence at Bala Cynwood, an assisted living and memory care community operated by LCB Senior Living, appointed Ashley Russo as its new executive director.

In her role, Russo will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the community and ensuring residents receive the highest quality of service and care.

Russo has been involved in senior living for 15 years, serving in a variety of leadership roles. Prior to joining The Residence at Bala Cynwood, she was the executive director at HarborChase.
