Final phase of Illinois community expansion underway

The Oak Trace senior living community in Downers Grove, Illinois is gearing up for the final phase of construction to begin on the overall $112 million renovation. 

While work remains underway at the community, construction was previously paused during the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic to “redesign and reimagine” the project based on input from residents and depositors, a news release on the project states.

The final phase will add 140 additional luxury independent living (IL) apartments, multiple dining venues, a spa, performing arts center and more. Two of the three phases have been completed on the project that started all the way back in 2015.

Milestone Housing Group develops affordable senior housing project

Developed by the Milestone Housing Group, the Siesta Senior Apartments will soon offer affordable senior housing for residents in the Sonoma, California area.

A grand opening ceremony was held for the community, that includes 92 units, a club room, exercise stations, dog park, outdoor communal space and solar panels to promote energy efficiency.

The project was financed by nonprofit community loan fund Housing Trust Silicon Valley.

EAH Housing breaks ground on Hawaii affordable community

EAH Housing in connection with the city and county of Honolulu, Hawaii and Hawai’i Housing Finance and Development Corporation hosted a groundbreaking and blessing ceremony for the community known as Aloha Ia Halewiliko.

The community will offer 140 units, 83 studios, 56 one-unit and manager unit in the three-story building. A total of 13 units will be designated for households with income at or below 30% of the area median gross income (AMI); 75 units will be designated for those at or below 50% of the AMI; and 51 units for households with incomes at or below 60% of the AMI.
