NIC names director of volunteer engagement
The National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care named Jamie Gray as the director of volunteer engagement effective Oct. 1.
In her new role, Gray will oversee NIC’s volunteer relations to “help achieve its strategic objective to increase volunteer engagement,” according to a press release, and will develop programs to recruit, onboard and integrate new volunteers. Additionally, she will be responsible for building a system to “maximize the talents and contributions” of NIC volunteers.
Gray is a Certified Volunteer Administrator, and prior to joining NIC she was the volunteer engagement specialist at the Project Management Institute for more than a decade, where she served as the staff liaison for two volunteer committees.
The Springs Living announces two regional directors of operations
The Springs Living has announced the appointment of two new regional directors of operations.
Ole Lindbo, who is noted as being new to The Springs Living, has been named as the regional director of operations for the northern Oregon region. Tim Minks, who has served as an executive director for the past three years, is the new regional director of operations for the Montana region.
Lindbo brings more than 15 years of experience to the position. Prior to joining The Springs Living, he served as regional director of operations for Sapphire Health Services in Oregon. Prior to that, he led a variety of communities in Oregon, California and Washington as an executive director, and he also acts on behalf of the National Center for Assisted Living for the state of Washington as its state leader.
Minks also brings more than 15 years of experience to his position. Prior to his appointment, he served as executive director of The Springs at Lake Oswego and The Springs at Wilsonville, both in Oregon. Before that, he served as regional director of operations and as an executive director for Avamere Family of Companies.
The Providence Fairfax brings on two new sales directors
The Providence Fairfax has brought on Nikita Muller and Michelle Morgan as sales directors on its team.
Both “bring commitment to and passion for the senior living industry,” according to a press release.
Prior to joining The Providence, Mutter served as the director of sales for Sunrise Senior Living and director of community relations for Brandywine Living.
Morgan brings more than 20 years of experience to The Providence, and previously served as community sales director for Brightview Senior Living and regional director of sales at Greater Palm Springs CVB.
Kendal at Ithaca welcomes director of marketing and communications
Kendal at Ithaca has announced that Danielle Chontey will join as its director of marketing and communications.
Chontey brings more than 30 years of experience to the position, previously working in marketing, operations and leadership for a local non-profit cooperative. Chontey has also served as a volunteer for Kendal at Ithaca through the Cornell Companions program.
Chontey is filling the position following the retirement of Betsy Schermerhorn.
