Latitude Margaritaville International starts sales in Mexico
In a license agreement with Levy Holding, Margaritaville will commence selling houses and apartments at Latitude Margaritaville International Lake Chapala in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico.
The community is geared to adults 55 and older, offering one and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 602 to 1,765 square-feet across 194 units, expected to open next year. The community is expected to include themes of island life and resort living, with prices for homes starting at $233,000.

Oak Trace completes second phase of $112M renovation
The Oak Trace senior living community in Downers Grove, Illinois recently completed the second phase of a major renovation and expansion project.
Oak Trace recently held a re-opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the renovation which has been underway since 18 months ago, marking the second phase of a three-phase project.
The first phase occurred in 2019 when Oak Trace opened its new health and wellness center offering AL, memory care, rehabilitation and skilled nursing. The latest phase featured a renovated shared spaces of the IL building.
The most recent project includes the Oak Room, a formal restaurant-style dining room with glassed-in wine racks; the Lounge, a casual gathering space offering cocktails and small plate fare; a new library, art studio and a renovated lobby.
The $112 million renovation will culminate in Spring 2024 with an IL expansion, which includes 140 IL apartments, fitness center, aquatic center, multiple dining venues, a spa, performing arts center and more.
