Retirement Unlimited promotes CCO

Retirement Unlimited recently promoted Emily Erickson to chief clinical officer for the company.

She’s been with RUI since 2016, having started as director of clinical services at Bay Lake. While there she received promotions to regional. director of clinical services and vice president of clinical services before she received the current title.

Summit Healthcare REIT welcomes new CEO

Summit Healthcare REIT recently promoted CFO Elizabeth Pagliarini to CEO, the company announced earlier this week.

The CEO post was previously filled by Kent Eikanas, who resigned on July 14. Prior to her promotion, Pagliarini served as CFO for Summit since September 2014, and added COO to her titles in August 2019.

Eikanas’ resignation comes with some controversy, according to an 8K filing from the Securities and Exchange Commission, as reported by Skilled Nursing News, a sister publication of Senior Housing News.

Health Dimensions Group adds finance director, add’l promotions

Health Dimensions Group announced that Melissa Zygarlicke has joined the company as senior director of finance to oversee all aspects of financial reporting and accounting for communities in the company’s portfolio.

Carmen Broska was also promoted to senior director of revenue services and Veronica James was named vice president of clinical operations.

12 Oaks Senior Living adds CPO

Senior living operator 12 Oaks Senior Living announced that Melissa Labor was recently named as chief people officer for the company.

She previously served as head of talent at Amherst Holdings and CHRO atGranite Properties. She is also the founder and chief thought leader at Bespoke, a consulting and coaching practice.

Erickson Senior Living names SVP of Ops

Erickson Senior Living recently announced Chris Emmett has joined the corporate executive team as senior vice president of community operations.

Emmett was promoted after having worked nearly three decades with the company. He was named regional vice president of operations in 2013.

He will oversee Erickson’s IL community operations.

Erickson Senior Living community promotes sales staff

Ashby Ponds, an Erickson Senior Living Community in Ashburn, Virginia, announced the promotion of Elizabeth

Dunwoody to director of sales, as outgoing sales director Holly Henderson was promoted to regional vice president of sales.

Henderson served as sales director for 12 years at Ashby Ponds, and Dunwoody recently served as sales manager.

Erickson Senior Living community promotes assistant director

Charlestown, an Erickson Senior Living community in Catonsville, Maryland, recently promoted Leslie Johnson as associate executive director.

For the last five years, Johnson served as the director of nursing and was an active member of the community’s executive leadership team. Prior to joining the community, Johnson worked for Manor Care, a skilled nursing care provider, and spent 11 years as a clinical leader in the St. Agnes Hospital emergency department.

Confluent Senior Living promotes managing director

Confluent Senior LIving recently announced that Vice President Matt Derrick was promoted to managing director of the firm’s senior living development division.

Derrick will lead the company’s strategic expansion plans, both in its projects and internal team growth. Since joining Confluent in 2016 as a senior development director, Derrick led the development team in the completion of nearly $600 million in senior living development, divided across 14 projects. In addition, Derrick has led the team to a $400 million senior living and active adult pipeline that is currently in development, according to a news release regarding the move.

Solstice Senior Living names VP of sales, marketing

Solstice Senior LIving recently announced the promotion of David Lors to vice president of sales and marketing.

He previously served as VP of sales and marketing. Under his leadership of the company’s east region, the census of the region jumped from 76% to 96%.

Lors has nearly two decades of senior living work experience, and previously joined Solstice in 2019.

Juniper Communities promotes regional ops director

Juniper Communities recently announced the promotion of Kathryn Bainbridge to regional director of operations for Texas.

She will support five communities within Texas and serve as a resource for executive directors and leadership teams at the respective locations.

For nearly five years, Bainbridge was the nursing home administrator at Juniper Village at Brookline Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in State College, Pennsylvania.

Anthem Memory Care names Kansas director

Sara Miller was recently named executive director of Chisholm Place, an Anthem Memory Care community in Wichita, Kansas.

In her role she will oversee daily care, programming and operations. She previously served as residence director and assistant resident director with Legend Senior Living.

Kisco Senior Living community hires executive director

Kisco Senior Living announced Joseph Villanueva as executive director for The Kensington at Walnut Creek.

Vilanueva brings more than 15 years of senior living experience to the new role.
