New life plan community starts in California
A new life plan community in Woodland Hills, California will soon see construction start following a groundbreaking ceremony later this week.
More than 500 older adults and future residents of Wisteria at Warner Center will watch as construction begins on their new homes.
The community will be built across 17 acres, comprising a six-story building and provide a maintenance-free lifestyle for residents. The completed community will include 486 homes and options range from one-bedroom to larger penthouse layouts.
Residents will have “dozens” of floor plans to choose from, a news release about the project states.
Shared amenities include an indoor pool and fitness center, library, movie theater, performing arts center and dining venues. Wisteria at Warner Center will offer a full continuum of care at the health center adjacent to the community with access to AL, memory care and nursing care as needed.
The design of the project was overseen by KTGY architects and W.E. O’Neil Construction will serve as the general contractor. The project is expected to open in 2025.
