Senior Lifestyle makes progress on Maryland luxury community

Senior Lifestyle is nearing the final stretch of construction on a 102-unit luxury community in Severna Park, Maryland.

The community is being developed in collaboration with investor and partner Kaufman Jacobs. It includes 84 AL and 18 memory care apartments ranging from studio units to two-bedroom layouts.

Construction started in October 2021 and is set to be completed next spring with residents to move in starting in May.

The community itself is 102,060 square-feet and features modern designs and upscale amenities including a fitness studio, art studio, memory garden, salon and spa. A bistro and bar with an additional restaurant-style dining room offering chef-prepared meals.

Inspirit Senior Living finishes renovation on Florida community

Renovations are officially complete at the Reserve at Citrus, an Inspirit Senior Living community, located in Lecanto, Florida.

The community offers AL and memory care services on a four-acre campus, and now features remodeled living spaces and a new dining room. Other improvements included fireplace lounge, private dining room, multipurpose activity space, media entertainment lounge, a chapel and outdoor patios.

The renovation focused on creating new and inviting common spaces featuring rich leather looks, wood textures, and rustic materials paired with lush botanicals and a Floridian flair, a news release from Inspirit states.

Highlights of the project also included significant renovations to the lobby area and cocktail bar and lounge area, in an effort to create a lodge-like atmosphere.

Affordable housing community opens in New York

Selfhelp Realty Group recently celebrated the completion of its 16th affordable senior housing community, this time in Suffolk County, New York.

The community, known as 11 Park Drive, in Wyandanch Village, Long Island, is now open. Selfhelp brings its nationally-recognized service model to the community to offer services to residents.
