Civitas Eyes April for Arizona Community Opening
Civitas Senior Living has set a tentative opening date in April for its new community in Flagstaff, Arizona.
The community, dubbed The Bluffs of Flagstaff, has 212 units for independent living, assisted living and memory care residents. Resident dwellings are equipped with design touches including washers and dryers for independent living residents, stainless steel appliances and walk-in closets.
Community amenities include a heated indoor pool, multiple dining venues, a movie theater, two on-site salons, activity rooms, a library, fitness center, putting green, interior courtyard, outdoor garden areas, walking trails, dog yards and a dog spa.
Kaas Wilson is the project’s architect, while the contractor is Greenberg Construction and the designer is Senior By Design.
Arbor, Alliance Community in Florida On Track for 2023 Opening
A new senior living community from The Arbor Company and Alliance Residential is coming together in Delray Beach, Florida.
The community, The Arbor at Delray, is slated to have 187 total units for independent living, assisted living and memory care residents. Planned amenities include a fitness center and yoga studio along with multiple dining venues.
Alliance is developing the community, and Arbor will operate it once it opens.

Chelsea Senior Living Expands Community on Long Island
Chelsea Senior Living has expanded one of its communities in Suffolk County on Long Island in New York, with a new assisted living and memory care wing.
An assisted living and memory care expansion at The Chelsea at Brookhaven has received licensing from the state, according to the company. The community first opened its independent living wing about two years ago.
Dominion Expands Memory Care at Kentucky Community
Dominion Senior Living has added 15 more memory care units at a community in Richmond, Kentucky.
With the addition, the community — Dominion of Richmond — has 30 memory care units and 30 personal care units.
