RLC Breaks Ground on Florida Community Near The Villages

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) has started construction on a new independent living community near The Villages development in Florida.

The $30 million community, Pebble Springs, spans 180,000 square feet and includes public-facing amenities such as an in-house bank, pharmacy, gift shop and salon. Prospective residents can choose from one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

The community represents RLC’s seventh in the state of Florida.

Anthology Community Opens in Michigan

Anthology Senior Living — the senior living platform of developer CA Ventures — has opened a community in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

The community, Anthology of Farmington Hills, has 92 units for assisted living and memory care residents. Amenities include multiple dining venues, a bistro, salon and barbershop, sun room, craft rooms, library, fitness center and a theater.

Atlas Sets Opening Date for South Carolina Project

Atlas Senior Living is slated to open a new senior living community in Simpsonville, South Carolina, on Jan. 31.

The 174-unit community, Legacy Reserve at Fairview Park, spans about 160,000 square feet, with amenities such as a heated indoor saltwater swimming pool, resident common areas, a sports bar, library, day spa and an exercise room.

National Church Residences Welcomes Residents at Affordable Community in Ohio

Residents have started moving in at Northland Gate, a new affordable senior housing community from National Church Residences.

The $16 million senior housing community has 94 one- and two-bedroom apartments, along with free campus Wi-Fi, a fitness center, community room with a kitchen, an outdoor walking path and a laundry facility.

Funding included $11.7 million in Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the Ohio Housing Finance Agency and $300,000 from the City of Columbus, Ohio. Other financial partners included CREA and First National Bank, which provided equity and debt. The project’s architect was Berardi Partners, and the Ruscilli Construction Company worked as general contractor.
