Saint Therese announces new chief sales and marketing officer

Saint Therese has announced the appointment of Cindy Olson as its chief sales and marketing officer effective March 4.

In her role, Olson is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of the nonprofit organization’s sales, marketing and advertising initiatives, according to a press release.

Olson has a “significant” background in senior living, most recently serving as vice president of marketing, sales and communications for Volunteers of America National Services. She also served as vice president of consulting business development with Health Dimensions Group and senior director of sales, marketing and customer experience with The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society.

Acts Retirement-Life Communities appoints two to leadership team

Acts Retirement-Life Communities announced the promotions of two individuals in its leadership team.

Jim Petty has been promoted to executive vice president, chief strategy officer. He previously served as senior vice president of strategy and mission development.

Sean Fletcher has been promoted to senior vice president, real estate services. He previously served as vice president of property management and construction services.

JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory platform expands senior housing team

JLL has announced the hiring of Daniel Schneider as an executive director of the senior housing team within the Value and Risk Advisory platform.

According to a press release, Schneider will play a “critical role” in supporting JLL’s clients in “making informed decisions and evaluating risk” in the senior housing market.

Prior to joining JLL, Schneider served as a first vice president at CBRE. Before that, he spent most of his 20-year career with Valuation and Information Group focusing on skilled nursing and HUD appraisals.

BWE Investment Sales adds vice president to seniors team

BWE Investment Sales announced Tony Hong has joined the team as its vice president for seniors housing.

In his role, Hong will grow BWEIS’ seniors housing investment sales platform in partnership with the seniors housing debt team, according to a press release.

Prior to joining BWEIS, Hong was senior vice president of acquisitions and underwriting at Cogir Senior Living. Before that, he served as executive vice president of business development at ZNest.

Solstice Senior Living welcomes sales specialist

Solstice Senior Living has announced that Mia Credle has joined its team as the divisional sales specialist for its south division.

According to a press release, Credle specializes in occupancy growth, educating teams on sales strategies and collaborating with executive leadership.

Credle brings 26 years of experience to the position, with her most recent position being divisional director of sales and marketing at Sagora Senior Living in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Juniper Communities names controller

Juniper Communities has announced the promotion of Stephanie Pressler to controller.

In her role, Pressler is responsible for monthly and annual financial reporting, budgets and annual audits.

Pressler has been with Juniper Communities since 2016.

The Springs at Whitefish names executive director

The Springs at Whitefish, located in Whitefish, Montana, has named Joel Allen as its new executive director.

In his role, Allen manages the various moving pieces that come with operating a senior living community.

Allen comes to The Springs at Whitefish after seven years at Logan Health Medical Center, where he most recently served as a practice manager.

Providence Senior Living appoints executive director for newest community

Providence Senior Living has announced the appointment of Shirah Rios as the executive director of its newly acquired Providence Living at Hunter’s Creek.

In her role, Rios will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community and foster relationships with staff, residents and their families to grow community satisfaction.

In a press release, Michelle Pierce, co-founder and chief operating officer of Providence One Partners, Rios promotion is a “testament to her extensive experience in assisted living settings.” 

The Springs Living promotes executive director

The Springs Living has announced the promotion of Angelo Zwirn to the executive director of The Springs at Anna Maria in Medford, Oregon.

In his role, Zwirn is responsible for all community operations while ensuring residents receive quality service.

Zwirn has been at The Springs at Anna Maria for over a decade, with his most recent role being the business office manager. He has also served as the community as a resident services coordinator, life enrichment coordinator and dining room supervisor.
