Anthem Memory Care assumes management of 20th property

Anthem Memory Care has assumed management of Pinnacle Place Memory Care, located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

According to a press release, Anthem Memory Care is now managing all aspects of the community’s operations and will add regional staff, technology and training programs to the community.

Pinnacle Place Memory Care is the 20th community under the management of Anthem Memory Care, bringing its total up to 1,400 units.

Mease Life affiliates with Acts Retirement-Life Communities

Mease Life, based out of Dunedin, Florida, has affiliated with Pennsylvania-based Acts Retirement-Life Communities.

According to a press release, Mease Life has become a member of Acts Retirement-Life Communities network of 27 continuing care retirement communities and will realize “significant” advantages in purchasing power, added expertise and have better opportunities for staff.

Mease Life is home to 350 residents and has independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing residences.

SLIB facilitates sale of St. Paul assisted, independent living community

Senior Living Investment Brokerage facilitated the sale of a 120-unit assisted living and independent facility in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The buyer is a large non-profit senior housing organization looking to expand its footprint in the state, with the seller being a multifamily owner and developer looking to focus on its market rate portfolio.

The community will be converted entirely to independent living.

Blueprint facilitates sale of five Oregon properties

Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has facilitated the sale of five senior housing properties around Oregon, with one being near Portland.

Reporting from LevinPro LTC states the communities sold consist of 468 units comprised of assisted living, independent living, and memory care.

Kandu Capital, Bloom Senior Living acquire two Indianapolis communities

Kandu Capital, LLC and its operating company Bloom Senior Living have announced the acquisition of two senior living communities in Indianapolis, Indiana out of a Fannie Mae receivership.

The acquisition brings Bloom’s Indiana footprint to five communities.

According to a press release, Bloom is capitalizing on new distressed opportunities as part of its strategy. The new communities were purchased for $25,000 and $35,000 per unit.
