Benchmark at Alexandria appoints two to leadership team

Benchmark at Alexandria announced the appointments of Doug Buttner to serve as senior executive director and Bonnie Barrella as director of community relations on Sept. 11.

Buttner brings 24 years of experience leading senior living communities throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Barrella has more than 16 years of experience working through sales, programming and move-in support for a variety of providers.

LCB Senior Living promotes engagement director

LCB Senior Living has announced the promotion of Ashley Gonzalez to engagement director at The Residence at Freeman Lake in North Chelmsford.

In her role, Gonzalez will be responsible for enriching residents through activities that help the needs of each resident.

Prior to her promotion, Gonzalez served as engagement assistant in the Reflections Memory Care program at The Residence at Freeman Lake.

The Springs at Carman Oaks names executive director

Beth Mueller has been named the executive director of The Springs at Carman Oaks, located in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

As the executive director, Mueller will oversee all aspects of the community, including ensuring service to residents, maintaining financial and regulatory compliance and recruiting and retaining employees.

Prior to joining The Springs, Mueller served at Brookdale Senior Living for seven years as an executive director. She has been involved in senior living since 2011.

Devonshire at PGA National promotes director of sales

Devonshire at PGA in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, has announced the promotion of Donna Schneider to director of sales.

Schneider has a nine year career at Devonshire, where she most recently served as a sales counselor. She was responsible for supervising sales associates, planning and implementing marketing strategies to bring in new community members.

Buckner Retirement Services names healthcare administrator

Buckner Retirement Services announced it has hired Hannah Culp as healthcare administrator for Ventana by Buckner, starting Sept. 18.

In her role, Culp will be responsible for providing leadership oversight for Ventana’s assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing programs. She will take over the role from interim healthcare administrator Keri McAnally.

Culp comes to Ventana after previously serving as associate executive director for Autumn Leaves and health center administrator for Walnut Place, both located in Dallas. Prior to those positions, she worked in Kansas as an administrator and executive director for several healthcare and assisted living communities.

Enso Village welcomes new controller

Enso Village, a senior living community developed by The Kendal Corporation and the San Francisco Zen Center, welcomed Adam Bulatewicz as controller.

In this role, Bulatewicz will lead the finance and accounting departments alongside contributing to the design and maintenance of internal control processes and accounting systems.

Prior to his current role, Bulatewicz served as a global finance director for a Los Angeles based marketing and experiential agency.
