Aline expands leadership team with two positions

Senior living software provider Aline expanded its leadership by announcing the appointments of Chief Revenue Officer Jonathon Blackburn and Chief Financial Officer Ryan Johnson.

Blackburn will be responsible for leading Aline’s commercial strategy, and Johnson will be responsible for leading the company’s finance, legal and human resources areas.

Prior to joining Aline, Blackburn served as chief revenue officer for Therapy Brands, and has previously served as chief revenue officer and general manager of Daxko and the vice president of sales at ADP.

Johnson previously served as chief financial officer at InStride and prior to that position was chief financial officer at SchoolMint. He also served as head of worldwide pricing and packaging at Qualtrics.

Health Dimensions Group names regional director of sales, marketing

Health Dimensions Group, a senior living, post-acute and long-term care management organization, has named Matthew Owens as its regional director of sales and marketing.

In his new role, Owens will develop and lead sales and marketing strategies of Health Dimensions Group’s current portfolio of communities. Additionally, he will conduct market analysis, recruiting and training for sales and marketing team members.

Owens’ experience in senior living and hospitality spans more than 15 years and includes various sales and marketing leadership roles. Prior to joining Health Dimensions Group, he served as regional vice president of marketing and strategic planning at a California based senior living management company.

LifeSpire of Virginia welcomes executive director for The Summit

LifeSpire of Virginia welcomed Kristi Martin as its new executive director for The Summit community.

Martin has held leadership positions at Centra Health, including serving as a nursing home administrator for the past eight years. She also brings experience in dialysis, orthopedics and the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly.

Retirement Unlimited, Inc. promotes, appoints two executive directors

Retirement Unlimited, Inc. has announced the promotion of Sam Kelderhouse and the appointment of Fajr Mills as executive directors within its organization.

Kelderhouse is the executive director of the Aarondale senior living community in Springfield, Va., and Mills is the director of The Barrington at Hioaks in Richmond, Va.

Prior to his promotion, Kelderhouse worked under the mentorship of RUI Leadership team members to complete his administrator in training program at Woodland Hills and The Westmont at Short Pump, where he served as assistant executive director.

Prior to her appointment, Mills provided care for residents in various positions for a decade including life enrichment leadership.

Buckner Retirement Services hires executive director

Buckner Retirement Services announced it has hired Samantha McCain as the new executive director for Calder Woods effective Sept. 1.

As the executive director, McCain said her immediate goal is to build an atmosphere that is engaging, uplifting and welcoming.

Prior to the executive director position, McCain served as Calder Woods’ interim executive director and interim healthcare administrator. McCain has more than 20 years of experience in senior living, including being employed by Colonial Healthcare, Trinity Healthcare, Community Care Center of Hondo, Bandera Nursing and Rehab SSC, Archer Healthcare Providers and United Regional Healthcare.

Fair Haven welcomes new medical director

Birmingham retirement community Fair Haven has welcomed Dr. Erald Lula as its new medical director.

Dr. Lula has experience in medical management, medical research and project implementation, and he completed his training in internal medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan.

Waterstone of Lexington names new senior advisor

Waterstone of Lexington has appointed Katrina DiMarino as the facility’s new senior advisor.

In her role, DiMarino’s responsibilities will include building relationships with seniors and their families and providing them with information and guidance to support their lifestyles and wellness goals. Additionally, she will connect with area professionals and local organizations to share opportunities happening at Waterstone of Lexington.

DiMarino has worked in the senior living industry for two years, and prior to that she led sales teams for hotel brands including Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton.
