MidCap Financial Closes Loan for South Carolina Community

MidCap Financial announced that it has closed a $20.5 million floating-rate first mortgage loan with Valeo Groupe Americas.

The loan facilitated the recapitalization of Vineyard Bluffton, a Class A senior housing community in Bluffton, South Carolina, with 96 assisted living and memory care units.

The community, Juniper Village at Spring Creek, is the operator’s fifth community operated under the Juniper Village brand in Texas.

New Perspective Adds Community Near Chicago

New Perspective announced it has assumed management of a new senior living community near Chicago.

The community — formerly called Arboria of Long Grove and now dubbed New Perspective Long Grove — has 60 assisted living units and 40 memory care units along with amenities that include a bistro, theater, chapel, theater, chapel, salon and spa.

JLL Capital Markets Arranges Sale of Texas Community to Bain Capital, CSH

JLL Capital Markets announced that it has arranged the sale of Northstar Georgetown, an active adult community in Georgetown, Texas.

JLL acted on behalf of the seller, Chalk Hill Ventures to sell the property to a joint venture with Bain Capital Real Estate and Capitol Seniors Housing (CSH).

Sienna Senior Living Agrees to Acquire Saskatchewan Residence

Sienna Senior Living (TSX:SIA) announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a 50% ownership interest in a retirement community located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in Canada.

Sabra Health Care REIT is acquiring the other 50% stake with Sienna acting as the property manager. The Village at Stonebridge has 186 private-pay suites.
