Former Pathway Leader Floyd Joins American House Senior Living as President

Jeff Floyd, the former senior vice president of operations at Waterton who helped lead Pathway to Living after a leadership succession in 2022, has joined American House Senior Living Communities as president.

American House created the position for Floyd to lead the company’s executive team, promote its mission and drive new growth and successful financial results. In his new role, Floyd will help promote “positive organizational culture focused on delivering exceptional care and services to residents,” among other duties, American House noted.

“Respecting, appreciating and honoring seniors and the team members who serve them must be the primary focus of an organization, and I’m delighted to sign on with a company that’s made that the focal point of its mission,” Floyd said in the announcement.

American House has more than 70 communities nationwide. In the last year, the company has acquired 13 properties in Tennessee and opened three ground-up developments.

Floyd’s new role comes months after Pathway to Living’s parent company, Waterton, transitioned the company’s management agreements to other operators.

Also joining American House is Alex Germain-Robin, who is replacing Brianne Zitko as the company’s COO and taking control of the company’s day-to-day corporate operations. Germain-Robin also comes to American House via Pathway, where he worked as vice president of operations.

In addition to Floyd and Germain-Robin, American House named Shea Krause as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Krause is joining American House after working as sales and marketing VP for Pathway to Living.

American House CEO Dale Watchowski noted that he hired the trio in part for their “abundant experience and diverse perspectives.”

“I’m confident in the positive impact to our company goals and objectives,” Watchowski said in the press release. “Their cumulative years working with seniors offers a high level of reassurance that the health and happiness of our residents and families will remain top priority.”
