Commonwealth Senior Living Names New President, COO

Commonwealth Senior Living has appointed Earl Parker as its new president and COO.

In his new role, Parker oversees the management and operations of all of the provider’s 21 senior living communities. Parker first joined the provider five years ago, and helped develop the company’s core values.

In addition to naming Parker as president and COO, Commonwealth also named Ed Corbeil as senior vice president of operations, Giovanni Montague Sneed as senior vice president of resident care and Kristy Ruppe Craddock as senior vice president of sales and marketing.

The provider also created four regional vice president positions to give its communities a single point of contact for support. Those vice presidents are Bernie Cavis, regional vice president of the Hampton Roads communities; Ronda Duckworth, regional vice president of the Central Virginia communities; Charles Ix, regional vice president of the Northern Neck and Peninsula communities; and Amanda Wickert, regional vice president of the Southwest Virginia communities.

HHHunt Announces Leaders for Properties Development Team

HHHunt has announced new leadership roles for its properties development division, which acquires, develops and constructs senior living communities and apartments.

The firm promoted Robert Chappelle to the role of vice president of development and construction. Chappelle is now responsible for leading the properties development team, and overseeing all of its activities. He first joined HHHunt in 2013, and worked as director of product development and design, and senior project manager.

Scott Hale was also promoted to the role of director of construction, and Ashley Peace joined the team as director of real estate development.

Watercrest Promotes From Within to Fill Vice President Role

Watercrest Senior Living Group has promoted Rose Pietras to the role of vice president of sales and marketing.

Pietras will now lead sales operations and help drive the marketing strategies for multiple senior living brands developed, owned, and operated by Watercrest.

Pietras has worked for Watercrest Senior Living Group since 2014, previously as director of market development. Pietras has roughly 20 years of senior living experience overall.

North Carolina Community Hires Resident Care Manager

Waltonwood Lake Boone, a senior living community in Raleigh, North Carolina, has hired Ellen Jones as its new resident care manager.

Jones, who has more than 30 years of senior living experience, will oversee the wellbeing of the community’s residents and employees. As a registered nurse, she also will help train CNAs and medical technicians, and coordinate residents’ appointments, medication management and diet.

Waltonwood Lake Boone is currently under construction, and is set to open later this year with 121 independent living apartments, 39 assisted living apartments and 23 memory care apartments.

Presby’s Hires Dining Director for Pennsylvania Life Plan Community

Presby’s Inspired Life recently appointed Colleen Tyrrell to the role of director of dining services for its Rydal Park community in Abington Township, Pennsylvania.

In her new job, Tyrrell will help manage the organization’s day-to-day dining operations. Previously, she was the general manager of the William Penn Inn based in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania.
