Florida-based CarePredict launched its new, artificial intelligence-powered senior care technology platform at the Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference in San Diego earlier this month.

CarePredict is one of the first companies to utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to observe, learn, and trigger just-in-time high-quality care for seniors. The CarePredict solution combines a Tempo wearable sensor with smart location technology and machine-learning algorithms to measure activity and behavioral patterns of residents, allowing senior housing care staff to intervene before health emergencies take place.

Currently, CarePredict’s products are being used by senior housing communities to predict when residents are at risk for urinary tract infections (UTIs), falls or depression. CarePredict has deployed its products in assisted living and memory care communities in the U.S. and Canada, and is expected to be launching in China, Japan, Argentina and Brazil.
