AmeriCare Added to SBA Franchise Registry

AmeriCare, a home-based caregiving franchisor, recently announced their approval and addition to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Franchise Registry.  The Franchise Registry is a compilation of franchise systems whose franchise agreements have been reviewed by the SBA, thereby shortening the loan process for franchise investors and ensuring a consistent eligibility decision for loans.  AmeriCare, which currently provides care giving services in 17 U.S. markets, chose to pursue the approval to support its national expansion strategy with emphasis on the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and West Coast regions.

"Our approval and addition to SBA’s Franchise Registry is another step to simplify the process of ownership for AmeriCare franchisees," said Debra Reis, president AmeriCare. "One of the most pressing concerns our franchisees have faced is access to capital to start or grow their business in today’s financial environment. Our approval means that current and potential AmeriCare franchisees benefit immediately from a streamlined review process for their SBA loan application."
