Change is happening faster now than it ever has. This change is being driven [in part by regulatory pressures] and external capital market pressures. You’re seeing consolidation abound.
Doing nothing is as risky as doing something. Doing nothing is a choice. For me, that’s a foundational principle.
I’ve really tried to hone in on if a change is going to improve the experience for our team members as well. If a change makes it harder for a line staff or caregiver, it’s probably not a change we should do.
I thrive off of change. That’s what motivates me every day to go do this. If I was just building another product tomorrow that was the same as the product yesterday, it would get boring pretty quick for me.
I love change, but I don’t like change for change’s sake. I like thinking about the why around what it is that we’re trying to achieve.
We take on probably a more organic view on things in that we change not only the way we operate, but we evolutionize our buildings to adapt to the changing needs and desires of the customer and the operational needs and desires.
“Technology is the single greatest driver of change, with the potential to revolutionize how we operate, engage with residents and employees, and improve overall efficiency.”
“I thrive on change. I am a problem-solver by heart. When you have a problem-solver mindset and you look for opportunities to do better in solving problems, change is inevitable as a result of that drive.”
