SAGE introduces new CEO

Senior LGBTQ+ advocacy organization SAGE announced Lynn Faria has been named as its next CEO.

Faria was promoted from their executive vice president position, and they have been with the organization for 10 years. They have more than 20 years of leadership experience in the LGBTQ+ movement.

“I am deeply humbled and excited by the opportunity to be SAGE’s next CEO,” Faria said in a press release. “I am proud to step in to lead SAGE’s growing LGBTQ+ aging movement. In my tenure, SAGE has expanded our work nationally, built a network of advocates and won major policy victories in Washington and in states across the country.”

Maplewood announces two leadership promotions

Maplewood Senior Living is strengthening its executive team with the promotions of Tino Popescu to chief operating officer and Samantha Spino to chief accounting officer.

In his role, Popescu will “guide the strategic direction of Maplewood’s clinical systems, ensuring that best-in-class care continues to define the organization across all communities,” a press release states. He has been with Maplewood and Inspir for 11 years.

As chief accounting officer, Spino will “lead accounting, reporting, audit, compliance and financial strategy function, strengthening Maplewood’s financial foundation while aligning resources to support the company’s long-term vision,” the release states. She has acted as a consultant to Maplewood since 2019.

Health Dimensions Group names COO

Health Dimensions Group has named Erin Hilligan as its chief operating officer.

Hilligan brings more than 30 years of senior and health care experience to the position. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of operations at Lifespark, according to a press release. Before that, she was COO of WesleyLife and worked in various leadership roles at Ebenezer for 19 years, including five years as vice president of operations.

“We are incredibly pleased to welcome Erin to HDG’s executive leadership team,” Amber Rogotzke, president and principal of Health Dimensions Group, said in the release. “Through her decades of hands-on experience in health care, she has demonstrated her ability to help shape and scale operations with impact and integrity.”

Jaybird Senior Living brings on corporate director of marketing

Jaybird Senior Living has welcomed Kristin Cole as its new corporate director of marketing.

Cole brings more than 15 years of experience to the position and has “a proven record of building brands, driving growth and leading award-winning campaigns,” according to a press release.

Prior to joining Jaybird, Cole served as the director of marketing and business development for Curana Health. Before that, she held senior sales and marketing roles with Harmony Senior Services, BAYADA Home Health Care and Amedisys Home Health, the release states.

Wind Crest announces director of sales

Wind Crest, a continuing care retirement community managed by Erickson Senior Living, announced Beth Conrad has been named as its director of sales.

Conrad brings over 20 years of experience to the position, most recently serving as a regional director of sales for a senior living organization where she “revitalized the sales and marketing strategies at communities in Colorado and several western states,” a press release states.

“We are so excited to have Beth join our team,” Craig Erickson, executive director of Wind Crest said in the release. “Beth’s wealth of experience and knowledge of the local senior living market, along with her genuine passion for people, make her the perfect person to lead the Wind Crest sales team.”

Wingate Living promotes general manager

Wingate Living has promoted Megan Ferrara to general manager of One Wingate Way East, the operator’s newest independent living community currently under construction.

Ferrara has been with Wingate since 2018, where she started as a receptionist. Since then, she has advanced through a variety of leadership positions, including community relations director, lifestyle director and community business director, according to a press release.

The community is set to open 2026.

Executive director named at The Carrollton New Orleans

James Matthews has been named the executive director of The Carrollton New Orleans, a senior living community owned and operated by Liberty Senior Living.

In his role, Matthews is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community. He officially assumed his role at the end of August, according to a press release.

Matthews brings more than 15 years of experience to the position. According to the release, he has “overseen new construction projects, directed behavioral hospital facilities and managed communities offering independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing.”
