United Church Homes welcomes two VPs

United Church Homes recently appointed Megan Kelley and Kevin Deegan as vice presidents.

Kelley was appointed as the vice president of general counsel and Deegan was appointed vice president of corporate ventures.

Kelley brings nearly two decades of experience in the legal field to her new role, while Deegan brings extensive business development and strategic planning experience to his VP role.

With the appointments, UCH is “strategically positioned” for growth, the company said in a news release.

Sagewood updates executive roster

Sagewood, part of Life Care Services (LCS), recently promoted Stewart Ingram and Ed Smith.

Ingram was promoted to regional operations manager for LCS, and he had previously been working with Sagewood and LCS for over three decades. He was the director of the Sagewood community for 17 years. In his new role,

Ingram will oversee operations of LCS-managed communities in the San Diego and San Francisco Bay markets of California.

Smith was promoted to executive director in Ingram’s place. He previously had been with the company since 2018 and brings nearly two decades of senior living experience into his new role. Prior to the promotion, he served as associate executive director.

To fill the role of associate executive director, Matt Phipps was hired, bringing over a decade of working for LCS.

Broadview at Purchase College adds two managers

Broadview at Purchase College, a university-based senior living community in Purchase, New York, recently hired Charlotte Manor as administrative services director and Crystal Mason as environmental services director.

Manor previously served as associate membership and marketing director for the New Rochelle YMCA and operated a marketing and design business serving local churches across New Jersey

Mason previously was senior operations manager at Wexner Medical Center, a 1,000-bed regional cancer research and treatment center.

Broadview at Purchase College is co-developed by Senior Care Development LLC and LCS Development, and will be operated by LCS.

Lifespace Communities welcomes director

Doug Fleegle recently rejoined Lifespace Communities as executive director at Beacon Hill, having previously worked for the company from 2016 to 2019 in the same position at a different community.

Prior to rejoining Lifespace, Fleegle served as executive director of Las Ventanas, a HumanGood life plan community.

He has also held leadership positions for Westminster Communities of Florida, Asbury Communities and United Church Homes and Services.

Beacon Hill is located in Lombard, Illinois, just west of Chicago.

Enso Village adds spiritual life leader

Enso Village, a Kendal community, recently added Malika Bouhdili as head of spiritual life.

In her role, she will build community relationships and encourage resident involvement in curating the Enso Village Spiritual Life program.

Prior to joining the community, Bouhdili served as a hospital chaplain.

Covenant Living names SVP of community ops

Covenant Living Communities and Services announced the addition of Jay Prince as senior vice president of community operations.

He will focus on operations, including dining services, facilities management, resident life, skilled nursing, assisted living and memory support.

He most recently served for the last 10 years as president and CEO at Heritage Community in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
