Sunrise Senior Living announces Virginia community

With its latest project, Sunrise Senior Living recently announced a new community in McLean, Virginia.

Architecture will be handled by Rust Orling Architecture with the general contractor The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.

The community will be home to more than 120 residents across the three-story, 90,000 square-foot property. Using natural light with large windows, the common spaces will be decorated with curated furniture. Shared amenities include a dining room and contemporary bistro, bar, fitness center, library, sunrooms, activity room, hair and nail salon and a massage room.

Outdoor amenities include five covered porches, a large outdoor terrace, two rooftop terraces and a public-private heritage garden and walking paths.

Enriched Senior Living unveils new Texas community

The Have at San Gabriel, a luxury AL and memory care community in Leander, Texas, has been announced by Enriched Senior Living.

The one-story facility covers five acres and consists of 65,000 square-feet with 50 AL units and 20 memory care units with private bathrooms and walk-in closets.

Shared luxury amenities include a theater, saloon, library wellness/therapy room, a full-service salon with massage rooms and gardens.

The general partners on the project include The GAN Group, New Haven Assisted Living and Shane Walls. Once complete, Enriched Senior Living will manage the community.

Frontier Management construction on Texas community continues

Construction is progressing at the Preserve at Spring Creek in Garland, Texas, according to Frontier Management.

The community is slated to open next year and offer IL, AL and memory care. Shared amenities include a formal dining room, large outdoor pool, gardening center, music area, pickleball courts, spa services and various activities.

Residents will also have access to the Clubhouse, which features a kitchen, fitness center and activity spaces.

General construction is being handled by 4J Construction Services Inc.

Insight Senior Living holds groundbreaking for New Mexico community

A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held for Ativo of Albuquerque, a new senior living community by Insight Senior Living offering IL, AL and memory care services.

On 6.5-acres, the three-story community will be managed by Insight Senior Living and offer 144 apartments with a variety of floor plans. Shared amenities include multiple dining venues, billiards room, salon, several activity rooms and a theater with in-theater dining.

Construction is expected to be complete in late 2024.

Liberty Senior Living prepares to welcome residents to Tennessee community

Liberty Senior Living is set to onboard the first residents of the Brightmore of East Memphis, a rental retirement community offering IL, AL and memory care services in East Memphis, Tennessee.

The eight-acre property offers a range of amenities including a pool, fitness center and multiple dining venues.

Other shared spaces include an art studio, a game/card room, a fitness and aquatic center and more.

Lifespace Communities renovates community

Lifespace Communities recently renovated Claridge Court, a retirement community in Kansas City, Missouri.

The renovations include changes to the living and communal areas and amenities to create a modern and welcoming environment for residents, a Lifespace news release said, with the renovations taking a year to complete.

Updates included new common spaces, new flooring, painting, updated lighting and addition of several new amenities including a new outdoor terrace, salon, pub, spa and renovated library. A resident-led effort to fund the addition of the Health Center Terrace was also undertaken as part of the renovations.
