Morning Pointe Senior Living welcomes clinical services VP

Morning Pointe Senior Living recently named Bebe Reed as its new vice president of clinical services.

Reed will support both community and regional nursing teams and oversee clinical operations at each of Morning Pointe’s 37 communities across five states. She will also be tasked with providing leadership to promote and growth of wellness initiatives while developing clinical policies and procedures.

Reed joins Morning Pointe from Griffin Living where she served as vice president of operations for AL operations at the company. She brings nearly three decades of health care experience as a nurse across various health care settings with a background in risk management, wellness and regulatory compliance.

Berkadia adds three to senior housing, health care platform

Berkadia announced the addition of Austin Sacco, Cody Tremper and Mike Garbers to the Berkadia Seniors Housing and Healthcare platform as managing directors.

Tremper and Garbers will report to Senior Vice President and Co-Head of Investment Sales and Production Mike Miner and Sacco will report to Senior Vice President and Head of FHA and Seniors Housing Finance Steve Ervin.

The trio brings nearly half-a-century of combined senior living experience to the new roles, something that Ervin said would help the team “hit the ground running.”

“The three of them bring unmatched seniors housing experience across a variety of asset classes,” Ervin said in a news release.

Garbers has over 20 years of experience in senior living and has been involved in development, acquisition and selling over $8 billion in senior living throughout North America. He specializes in brokering senior housing, age-restricted and long-term care properties, joining Berkadia from JLL Capital Markets where he served as managing director.

Tremper joins from JLL where he served as managing director. He specializes in brokering senior housing, age-restricted and long-term care properties across the U.S. and has been involved in excess of $6 billion in senior housing acquisitions and financing since 2005.

Sacco joins from CBRE where he served as senior vice president and co-head of CBRE’s national seniors housing team with experience in capitalizing active adult, IL, AL, memory care and post-acute properties. Since 2013, he’s been involved with the origination and closing of over $10 billion in senior housing debt.

Ohio Living community names new ED

Ohio Living Rockynol, an Ohio Living community in Akron, Ohio, recently announced Robert Cameron as executive director. 

Cameron will oversee daily operations and be responsible for the community’s quality and financial outcomes.

He previously held various leadership roles in northeast Ohio and most recently served as traveling administrator and executive director for LeaderStat at Colvernook.

Goodwin Living announces new board chairpersons

Goodwin Living recently named Cyrillene Clark as the new chairperson of its board of trustees and the Goodwin Living Foundation elected Joan Renner as its new chairperson of the Goodwin Living Foundation’s board of directors.

Clark is the owner of Crichlow Clark Group, a talent management and leadership consulting firm, and she succeeds Mary Lewis Hix as chairperson. Renner is a senior consultant at Renner and Company, CPA, and she succeeds Gant Redmon in the role.

Buckner Retirement Services adds ED to Houston community

Buckner Retirement Services recently announced Tim List as the executive director for Parkway Place, a senior living community in Houston, Texas.

List will take over starting Feb. 13 and oversee community operations, regulatory compliance and associate relations at the community. List takes over from Abraham Mathew, who moved into an operations director position at Buckner Retirement Services.

He started in senior living in 2012 at Longhorn Village, a life plan community in Austin, Texas.

Senior Lifestyle adds to sales and marketing team

Senior Lifestyle recently announced Vicki Yarbrough was added to the company’s corporate sales and marketing team, according to a post on Linkedin.

Yarbrough joins as a sales specialist.
