Oakmont Senior Living builds out executive team

Oakmont Senior Living recently announced the recent promotions of four top-level staff members to help move the company forward.

The Irvine, California-based operator promoted Andrew Moret to vice president of culinary operations from director of culinary services; David Odien from vice president of facilities management to director of maintenance; Heather Evans from regional director of sales and marketing to vice president of sales and marketing; and Tamara Fernande from vice president of operations to senior vice president of operations.

Moret brings over two decades of restaurant experience, along with eight years working in senior living. In Odien’s new role, he will oversee new building operations, capital project management and integration of maintenance programs. Evans will be responsible for all sales and marketing support and initiatives in the central region of Oakmont Senior Living communities. Finally, Fernandez brings a decade of experience in senior living and started as a program coordinator.

Oakmont Senior Living is a brand of Oakmont Management Group, with the operator serving over 4,500 seniors across 44 communities in two states.

National Church Residences names VP of health care, board appointments

National Church Residences announced the promotion of Brianna Mettler from vice president of senior services to her new role as vice president of health care operations.

The Columbus, Ohio-based company also announced the election of Sean de Four and Jami Dewolf to the National Church Residences Board of Directors.

Mettler will now manage all senior service departments, from home health to community wellness and more. Additionally, she will direct operations at 16 senior housing properties in Ohio and Florida, while also overseeing more than 1,200 employees in the senior services and senior living divisions.

Mettler joined the company in 2006 as a regional rehabilitation manager and has risen quickly through the ranks.

National Church Residences serves more than 46,000 seniors through its array of housing and health care services with more than 360 communities in 24 states.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin life plan community welcomes medical director

Eastcastle Place, a life plan community in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, recently introduced Dr. Sandee Ramanujam, M.D. as the medical director for the property.

He will oversee the community’s health and rehabilitation center, assisted living and memory care units, and care for IL residents living at the community.

Texas Civitas community adds director

Long Creek, A Sunnyvale, Texas senior living community, recently welcomed Latosha Rotimi as the facility’s newest executive director.

She has worked under managing operator Civitas Senior Living since 2019, having started out as the wellness director for Cambridge Court, a community in Mesquite, Texas.

Rotimi started as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and later as a med-aide. From there, she climbed the ranks and became a memory care director, assisted wellness director and weekend manager at various senior living communities.

In 2019, she began her career with Civitas as wellness director.

Presbyterian Senior Living announces swath of leadership promotions

Presbyterian Senior Living (PSL) recently promoted a range of staff to leadership roles.

Kate Andreacci to vice president of life plan services; Dan Krieger to senior vice president of risk, compliance and business development; and Charles Gergits was promoted to area director.

Andreacci will be responsible for identifying further expansion opportunities in programming, along with the development and implementation of strategy. Andreacci has been with PSL for over five years and has served as senior executive director, regional director of operations and most recently, regional vice president of operations.

Krieger has held multiple roles, having been key in developing a relationship that led to the purchase of Benchmark Therapies. He will serve as the primary interface with insurance and legal representatives for PSL, along with the development and implementation of new business lines and partnerships for the company.

Gergits will have oversight of the PSL life plan communities in eastern Pennsylvania, Kirkland Village and Cathedral Village. He previously served in nursing, administrator and executive director roles.

The new appointments take effect Nov. 1.

PSL provides services to approximately 6,000 residents in 30 communities across four states.
