Erickson Senior Living $500M CCRC celebrates first-phase opening
Avery Point, a CCRC developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, hosted a grand opening ceremony earlier this month.
The first phase of the community sold out and the second phase has reservations filling fast, a news release from the company states.
The community is situated on a 94-acre campus located outside of Richmond, Virginia and marks Erickson’s third community in Virginia.
The first phase of construction included a clubhouse and two IL buildings made up of 216 one-and-two bedroom apartments. Floor plans, most of which include a patio or balcony, are custom-designed and over a range of amenities including open, spacious layouts, contemporary fixtures and nine foot ceilings.
The second phase of development, which is now under construction, includes 107 IL units. Upon completion, the project will feature 1,160 total IL units as part of a continuing care neighborhood with multiple levels of care, from AL to memory care and skilled nursing.
On-site amenities include a fitness center, aquatics center, restaurants, theater, salon, day spa, classrooms, library and on-site medical center.
Erickson Senior Living serves over 28,000 residents across 11 states as part of 20 communities.
American House Oak Park marks opening
American House Oak Park, in Oak Park, Illinois, recently celebrated its grand opening.
The IL, AL and memory care community is a seven-story building featuring private apartments with modern design and finishes. The community consists of 76 IL, 66 AL and 35 memory care units.
The community features multiple dining venues, fitness centers, roof terraces and more.
Lease-up is now underway.
Gurwin Healthcare System completes new CCRC addition
Gurwin Healthcare System recently celebrated the completion of Foutaingate Gardens, a new IL community as part of the overall CCRC in Commack, New York.
The final leg of the CCRC adds to the Gurwin Assisted Living, Nursing and Rehabilitation facilities already on-site.
The community is build around Blue Zone-inspired principles aimed at improving the health, happiness and longevity of residents. Amenities include a library, salon, pool, gym, multiple dining menus and more.
