Anthology Senior Living expands to Washington state

Anthology Senior Living has announced plans for its first IL-focused senior living facility in Edmonds, Washington.

The 127-unit community, Anthology of Edmonds, will feature studio, one and two-bedroom configurations, and represents the sixth senior housing development that Anthology has started on in the past 12 months.

The six-story, 162,872 square-foot community will feature a range of modern and contemporary designs with high-quality finishes and underground parking. Amenities for the project include a salon and barbershop, multiple dining venues, a fitness center, theater, a central courtyard with a bar and bistro.

Anthology Senior Living is the owner, developer and operator of CA Ventures’ senior living platform and spans 42 communities across 16 states.

New community coming to Sarasota area

81 Oaks, a new IL, AL and memory care community in Sarasota, Florida, was recently announced and construction is now underway.

The 98-unit AL and memory care community will open next year with a plan to offer 41 IL apartments in phase two and 57 villas and cottages in phase three in 2024.

The project is under development by N21 Group LLC managed by St. Petersburg, Florida-based Solvere Living.

The first phase of construction is part of an intergenerational campus of houses featuring 100 oak trees, a charter school, a church, auditorium, trails, gazebo and more. Other amenities include a bistro, a private dining room and bar along with multi-purpose event spaces. Construction will be handled by Wiseman Construction and design was undertaken by Lawson Group Architects, Inc.

Kendal, San Francisco Zen Center top out Enso Village project

The new, zen-inspired community under construction in Healdsburg, California recently marked a “topping out” beam placement ceremony.

The project is a collaborative effort for Kendal Corp. and the San Francisco Zen Center aimed at connecting residents with mindfulness and nature, while promoting environmentally sustainable living. The project will exceed LEED Gold Standard energy efficiency goals and will include 221 IL units and 54 support facilities for AL and memory care.

Liberty Senior Living announces construction for new North Carolina community

Liberty Senior Living recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to signal the start of construction of Hayes Barton Place, a life plan community in Raleigh, North Carolina, which is set to open in 2024.

The community will feature IL condominium-style residences, apartment flats and townhouses. Other services will also include AL, memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation.

Shared amenities will include a 50,000 square-foot clubhouse with casual and fine dining venues, a library and media room, movie theater, salon and spa. Other amenities include a pickleball court, a putting green, bocce ball court and croquet lawn.

For the project, Liberty Senior Living teamed up with Grubb Ventures, Williams Realty and Building Company, Brasfield & Gorrie, WithersRavenel, Clancy and Theys Company, LS3P and Liggett Design Group.

Various Harbert South Bay Partners projects advance

Harbert South Bay Partners recently announced some updates to various senior living projects in which the company served as developer on.

The Variel in Woodland Hills, California, a 336-unit IL, AL and memory care project opened in August of this year with Momentum Senior Living as the operator.

The 501 in Amber, Pennsylvania, a 250-unit IL, AL and memory care community opened in August of 2020 and now is affiliated with SageLife as its operator

The Seville, an 87-unit AL and memory care project in San Clemente, California, is set to break ground for initial construction by the end of this year. Momentum Senior living will serve as the project’s operator once open.

Erickson Senior LIving opens sales office at new community

Erickson Senior Living opened its sales center for The Grandview, an in-progress community in Bethesda, Maryland.

The Grandview will be the company’s first vertical living community and feature a range of two and one-bedroom IL apartment homes in varying floor plans. Units for AL and skilled nursing are also part of the plans for the space.

Erickson supports over 28,000 senior living residents in 11 states.

Kisco Senior Living community completes renovations

Park Terrace, a Kisco Senior Living community located in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, recently completed renovations to various social spaces within the community including a courtyard, pool and main dining room.

The renovations were designed to magnify the Spanish colonial architecture throughout the community, while enhancing social wellness offerings to residents.
