EveryAge community to mark renovations with ceremony

Lake Prince Woods, a CCRC in Suffolk, Virginia will host a groundbreaking ceremony for its wellness center and commons area upgrads next week.

The EveryAge Senior Living community will see a two-phase project, with the initial phase costing in the range of $13.5 million. Details on the second phase are still under development. To date, a total of $1.46 has been raised towards the project.

Amenities include an art studio; space for religious study, salon and massage space, entertainment space and the center will have improved accessibility. The upgrades to the commons includes enhanced audio and visual capabilities of the auditorium and gathering space, along with improved signage and coverings between buildings.

The CCRC is on 172-acres and offers a range of care levels.

The new wellness center will offer dedicated fitness areavels, from IL and AL to memory care and rehabilitation. Living options include cottages, villas and apartments. The company manages 12 properties serving over 2,000 adults.

Arden starts work new active adult community

Arden announced its newest Charlotte location known as Arden at Indian Land, is now under construction. The company is also expanding its footprint in the Charlotte area with three confirmed locations in Matthews, Huntersville and Mallard Creek.

The active adult community is four stories, 152,000 square-feet with 128 one and two bedroom floor plan concepts. Residents can expect a range of windows, natural lighting and modern kitchens with stainless steel appliances. The interior design of the units was handled by Urbanik Interiors.

Residents will also have access to more than 8,000 square feet of amenity spaces, including a fitness studio and health and wellness room and a pickleball court. The community will also include covered terraces, a fountain, outdoor lounges, two fire pits, and a grilling station.

Washington community expands to dementia care

The Rivers at Puyallup, a Pegasus Senior Living community, will soon open its doors to seniors and families who require dementia care, with the memory care portion of the community expected to open next month.

The community, located in Puyallup, Washington, will offer a range of memory care-related services including personalized activities, brain-enhancing nutrition and neuroplasticity therapy along with fitness and engagement programming.

Silverado opens first community in Maryland

The Silverado Frederick memory care community in Frederick, Maryland is now open.

The community marks Silverado’s entrance into the Maryland market. The property features indoor and outdoor spaces geared towards resident independence.

The Frederick community sits next to a golf course less than a mile from the Monocacy River.

Erickson Senior Living addition to CCRC campus now open in Kansas

Tallgrass Creek, an Erickson Senior Living CCRC in Overland Park, Kansas, recently welcomed its first residents to its newest independent living building on the sprawling campus.

The CCRC community’s latest addition on the 65-acre campus adds 96 apartments with 13 different floor plans. The new community offers private outdoor spaces and shared amenities include restaurants, fitness center, indoor pool and on-site medical center.
