Live Give Play plans mixed use active adult community

Real estate developer Live Give Play and Spiritos Properties announced plans for a 70-unit active adult community in Northhampton, Massachusetts.

The rental project, known as 79 King St., will look to attract the baby boomer demographic to support healthy lifestyles, inspire community service and cultural engagement in the New England area.

The development was designed by BKSK Architects employing a “mass-timer structure” and a focus on sustainability with rooftop solar panels and will meet Passive House Standards, a news release states.

The 110,000 square-foot property is expected to open in late 2024.

Ground breaking ceremony held for Saint Therese community

The Saint Therese of Corcoran in Corcoran, Minnesota is now under construction following a groundbreaking ceremony earlier this month.

The community is expected to open in the spring of 2024 marking the 60th anniversary of Sain Therese’s founding in 1964.

The initial phase of construction will include a variety of multi-level buildings with 153 apartments of IL, AL and memory care. Features include multiple dining options, a chapel, wellness center, pool, library, golf simulator, theater, outdoor amphitheater and woodworking shop.

Thrive Senior Living to host grand opening

Thrive Senior Living announced the community, Thrive at Montvale, is now open.

The three-story community in Montvale, New Jersey includes 203 apartments of IL, AL and memory care units, with the project being anchored by a 33,150 square-foot social courtyard space. The gathering place includes outdoor gaming areas, a theater and a greenhouse.

Additional amenities include two restaurants, pickleball courts, salon, fitness center and coffee cafe.

A grand opening ceremony will be held on Oct. 6.
