LCS community marks $56M expansion
Life Care Services’ Trillium Woods, a life plan community in Plymouth, Minnesota, recently announced a large expansion project representing a $56 million investment.
The addition will include all new independent living apartment homes, underground parking and a new dining venue.
Design of the expansion is being handled by the Minneapolis-based Pope Design Group.
More details on the project will be available in the coming months, according to a news release by Trillium Woods.

Groundbreaking set for $36M Frontier community
Construction on the Pavilion in Tecolote Canyon, a $36 million assisted living and memory care community in San Diego, California, is set to begin next month following a groundbreaking ceremony on Aug. 11.
The community will accommodate approximately 94 residents in the Clairemont neighborhood of San Diego.
Ahead of construction, salvaged beams and lumber will be donated to the Freedom Ranch for Heroes, a project that gives veterans a place to learn new skills and enjoy the outdoors.
The building will be Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified and will feature both assisted living and memory care services.
Frontier currently has a portfolio of more than 130 communities across the country, with home offices in Portland, Oregon and Dallas, Texas.
Historic Ohio property renovated
The Biltmore Towers in Dayton, Ohio will mark the end of a two-year renovation and rehabilitation project with a ceremony next month for the 230-unit affordable apartment complex for seniors and disabled residents.
The development was opened in 1929 and converted to senior living in the 1980s and placed on the National Register of Hisotirc Places in 1982.
A grand reopening ceremony will be held on Aug. 2.
