Anthology Senior Living to develop Colorado community

Anthology Senior Living is partnering with CA Ventures to develop a senior living community in Beaverton, Oregon.

The 207,169 square-foot community will mark the 40th community in its portfolio with the project to be completed in the second quarter of 2024. The community will consist of 206 luxury independent living, assisted living and memory care units.

The project also marks Anthology’s alliance with the Formation Development Group.

New community planned for saint therese

Saint Therese finalized the purchase of a 13 acre site for a new community at Saint Therese of Corcoran in Corcoran, Minnesota.

The community will include a variety of multi-story buildings with 154 apartments for independent and assisted living. Future phases include skilled nursing care and transitional care.

Initial site work is set for later this summer with a groundbreaking to be held in September.

Forefront Living starts work on new community

Forefront Living recently started construction on The Outlook at Windhaven in Plano, Texas.

The community will be situated on the 18.2-acre creekside property at Haggard Farms with the units already 70% pre-sold. Construction is expected to wrap up in 2024.

The gated community will be made up of 153 independent living units, 30 independent living cottages, 32 assisted living apartment homes and 24 memory care suites.

The independent living apartments will feature 14 different floor plans ranging from 900-1,950 square feet. The independent living cottages will feature two floor plan options ranging from 1,800-2,000 square feet and will include front porches, private courtyards and attached garages. Additionally, the campus will showcase a new clubhouse with dining, fitness, entertainment and other lifestyle amenities.

Sunrise opens second Staten Island community

Sunrise Senior Living recently opened its second community in Staten Island, New York with the opening of Sunrise of New Dorp.

The 85,000 square-foot, four-story property will consist of 45 assisted living and 50 memory care units. The community combines a mix of designs to include furniture for residents needs and safe spaces to fit resident demand based on care level. 

A courtyard anchors the campus and includes a theater and nail and hair salon.

Sunrise is also planning a community in Sunnyvale, California. The community, dubbed Sunrise of Cupertino, is slated to have room for 114 residents needing assisted living or memory care.

Project partners for Sunrise of Cupertino include HPI Architecture and WE O’Neil Construction. The community is set for a spring 2023 opening date.

Civitas’ Houston community to welcome residents this fall

A Civitas Senior Living community, StoneCreek of Copperfield, will open later this year.

The community, set to open in late fall, boasts independent living, assisted living and memory care. Shared amenities include a clubhouse and fitness center. A total of 12 independent living villas have been built on-site and The Cottage, the community’s memory care space, will offer dementia care for residents and support for families.

Kendal community opens on-site health center

The Kendal at Lexington recently announced a partnership with Rockbridge Area Health Center to open a by-appointment health services medical office at the life plan campus in Lexington, Kentucky.

Rockbridge provides full service medical care for all ages, including wellness, acute care and care for chronic medical conditions. Office visits will start in mid-July.

The Rockbridge Area Health Center satellite medical office will be in an on-campus clinic space completed in 2020 as part of Kendal at Lexington’s Phase three expansion and renovation. The space offers three exam rooms and a waiting area located through an entrance off the Anderson Center parking lot.
