Monarch communities adds to management team

Monarch Communities recently made two key leadership appointments, with Kelley Arrington being appointed operations specialist and Debbie Reilly as project manager.

Arrington will oversee regulatory compliance and quality assurance at Monarch, and previously worked as vice president of operations for Wickshire Senior Living based in Brentwood, TN where she was responsible for all operational aspects for 20 new communities. She brings over 27 years of senior living experience to this position.

Reilly worked as project manager previously at Erickson Senior Living, bringing over 27 years of construction management experience to Monarch having completed work on 37 communities across 12 states.

Monarch Communities operates and develops senior living communities along the East coast.

LCS director reaches milestone

A Life Care Services (LCS) executive director at the company’s Sagewood community marked 30 years with the company.

Stewart Ingram started with the company in 1984 before returning in 2006 as executive director of the Phoenix, Arizona-based community. 

Sagewood, a resort-style community, includes a fitness center, two movie theaters, indoor and outdoor pools, an 18-hole putting golf course, an auditorium for multi-purpose use and multiple dining venues.

“I think of Life Care Services as the premier provider and operator of senior living communities across the country. I take a lot of pride in the fact that I’ve been with LCS for 30 years, and Sagewood is one of the primary flagship communities,” Ingram said in a news release marking the career milestone.

Kendal-affiliated community adds director

Mitchellville, Maryland-based Collington Life Plan Community announced Paige Mills-Haag recently joined the life plan community as the new director of philanthropy and community engagement.

She will lead the philanthropic arm of Collington that works to improve the lives of the greater Michellville area.

Prior to joining Collington, Paige worked in development for organizations in the field of senior living, as well as other non-profits.

Lifespace Communities welcomes counsel

Lifespace Communities recently announced Tim Gorman as the new general counsel for the company to bring leadership, vision and legal function to his role.

Gorman, a CPA, has extensive legal and strategic experience. Most recently he served as senior attorney of Ascension offering general counsel support for the company’s senior living division.

Lifespace Communities, based in Dallas, Texas and Des Moines, Iowa, is a nonprofit company for those 45 and older and operates 14 continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) serving over 4,700 residents supported by more than 3,700 employees.
