Lifespace Communities Appoints Lead for Strategy

Lifespace Communities announced Mike Roach as the new chief strategy officer effective March 23, 2022. 

In his new role, Roach is set to aid development, oversight, and implementation of strategic planning throughout the Lifespace organization and markets. Specifically, he is tasked with assisting in identifying, assessing, developing, and managing strategies to expand Lifespace’s capabilities to improve competitiveness and business performance. Lifespace said the work will include product innovation, market expansion, capability-building, partnership creation, mergers and acquisitions, and diversification.

Roach has experience in strategy and operations, particularly in consumer markets. Most recently, he worked as vice president, corporate strategy and planning for 1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. 

Integral Senior Living Names New Director

Integral Senior Living (ISL) has announced Zandria Stapleton as its new regional director of sales and marketing.

Stapleton comes to ISL with more than 15 years of experience in the senior living industry and has spent many of those years in management or marketing positions. In her most recent position as a regional director of Sales at Eclipse Senior Living, she was responsible for occupancy growth, developing lead generation tactics and business development.

She has experience in the senior living industry and has had success in improving the sales at five senior living companies. In her new position, Stapleton will oversee the sales and marketing efforts for several of ISL’s communities, which include independent and assisted living and memory care.

Ativo Senior Living of Prescott Valley Welcomes Administrator

Rebecca Ratliff was named Administrator of Ativo Senior Living of Prescott Valley, a community managed by Insight Senior Living.

Ratliff began her career as a CNA working in skilled settings. She continued her education and obtained her license to become an LPN. 

Ratliff will oversee sales and operations during the community’s pre-open phase before its fall opening; and once the community opens, all day-to-day operations and management of employees will fall under her purview.

ZOM Living Expands Senior Housing Division

The multifamily housing developer announced it has hired Stephen Ordway as senior vice president. Ordway brings 17 years of commercial and hospitality real estate experience to the firm with the last decade dedicated to senior housing.

In his role, Ordway will spearhead ZOM Senior Living’s nationwide growth strategy and pursue opportunities to partner with senior housing operators and develop independent living communities.
