Ovation Communities Adding Memory Care Units to Milwaukee Community
Senior living operator Ovation Communities is expanding its Ovation Jewish Home community in Milwaukee.
The project, under construction now, is set to add 16 specialized memory care units on the community’s second floor. The units are designed for older adults living with Alzheimer’s or dementia who don’t require around-the-clock nursing care.
Zimmerman Architectural Studios designed the expansion, and VJS Construction Services is building it. If all goes according to plan the project will wrap up this summer.

Epoch Opens Connecticut Community
Epoch Senior living has announced the opening of Waterstone on High Ridge, an independent living, assisted living and memory care community in Stamford, Connecticut.
The community has 146 residences ranging from studio to one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans. Amenities include an indoor heated pool, salon and fitness center, a restaurant, movie theater, concierge services and underground parking.
Monthly fees start at $8,750 for a memory care apartment, $8,950 for a one-bedroom independent living apartment and $10,500 for a one-suite assisted living apartment.
Brookdale Unveils Newly Renovated Community in Houston
Brookdale Senior Living (NYSE: BKD) is holding a grand reopening for Brookdale Galleria, a senior living community in Houston that underwent a $12 million renovation project.
The community’s renovations include an updated pool, fitness center, beauty shop, private dining room and sports bar. The community’s services for residents include independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing.
Otterbein SeniorLife Expands With Small-Home Concepts in Ohio
Otterbein SeniorLife has added new small-home skilled nursing neighborhoods at communities in Perrysburg and Monclova, Ohio.
Each of the neighborhoods have five small houses and a total capacity to serve about 60 older adults.
