LCS Promotes Lahey to EVP and CIO

Des Moines, Iowa-based LCS announced the promotion of Dan Lahey to executive vice president and Chief Investment Officer.

Lahey, who has been with LCS since 2008, joins the executive leadership team to oversee the LCS real estate strategy which will include acquisitions, development capital, and debt placement.

LCS credits Lahey’s strategic direction with its growth to 53 owned communities.

Willow Valley Living Names COO, Other Leaders

Willow Valley Communities and its management company, Willow Valley Living, promoted several people to leadership positions.

The operator named Craig Thompson as its new COO. Previously, Thompson served as executive VP of residential operations. Other personnel announcements included:

  • Marsha Kauffman has been named CFO of Willow Valley Living after being with the company for 11 years. Previously, she served as Controller.
  • Kendall Hunsicker has been promoted to the position of senior VP of Healthcare Services at Willow Valley Communities from her previous role as vice president of the same department.
  • Kristen Loose has been named VP of Healthcare Operations at Willow Valley. Before taking the new role, Loose worked as health care administrator of the company’s Lakeside communities.

Epoch Senior Living Announces New VP

Epoch Senior Living named Julie Lombardo vice president of wellness services. In this position, Lombardo, a registered nurse, is responsible for managing the operator’s clinical outcomes, policies, and procedures.

Prior to joining Epoch, Lombardo oversaw the care delivery and operations of 10 stand-alone memory care communities.

Life Care Services Fills Nurse Specialist Role

Life Care Services, the senior housing platform of LCS, announced the promotion of Jonathan Back to the position of regional clinical nurse specialist. Back is responsible for clinical support and training of directors of nursing at three senior living communities in Delaware.

Back, who’s been working in nursing for 18 years – mostly in the senior living sector – was most recently the director of nursing at Marquette Senior Living in Indianapolis.

Oakmont Senior Living Announces New Executive Director

Luxury senior living operator Oakmont Senior Living announced Christopher Tharp will work as the executive director of Santianna, its newest community located in Carlsbad, California.

Tharp brings more than 10 years of senior living experience including stints as an executive director with Somberly Senior Living at communities in South Carolina and Alabama.

Benchmark Senior Living Community Names Executive Director

Benchmark Senior Living at Billerica Crossings, a memory care and assisted living community in Billerica, Massachusetts announced that Michele Ellis will be its executive director.

Ellis has more than 20 years of experience including managing several highly regarded assisted living facilities in the New England area.

Milwaukee Life Plan Community Names Move-in Coordinator

Eastcastle Place, a life plan community in Milwaukee, announced that Cooper Ledvina has been promoted to the position of move-in coordinator. Ledvina, who has been with Eastcastle Place since 2019, previously served as an activities coordinator.

SRI Management Welcomes HR Director

Senior living management firm SRI Management announced Kim Hollingshed as its new director of human resources. Hollingshed previously held human resources positions with both emerging and large communities in various industries.

Hollingshed brings more than 10 years of experience to her new role wherein she will oversee employee relations, performance management, and corporate policy and procedures.

Health Dimensions Group promotes Executive VP

Post-acute, long-term care and senior living management and consulting firm, Health Dimensions Group (HDG) announced the promotion of Kim Watson to the position of executive vice president of people, culture, and quality.

Watson previously served as vice president of consulting services at HDG. Before joining the company, Watson held the titles of regional director and vice president of operations for senior living portfolios in the Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions.

Morning Pointe Senior Living Names Operations VP

Morning Pointe Senior Living announced the promotions of Rob Pollard to the position of vice president of operations and Abby Medley to the position of regional vice president of operations for the Appalachian region, the position previously held by Pollard.

Pollard, who has been with Morning Pointe for seven years, will be responsible for the management of standard operational processes, growth, and development.

Medley most recently served as regional director of sales and marketing, a position she held for five years.

Dele Health Tech Announces New VP of Sales, Senior Living

Jessica Heck Wesley has been announced as vice president of sales, senior living with Dele Health Tech, a company specializing in data fusion fall technology.

Heck brings more than 10 years of sales and operations experience in the senior living sector. She will lead the firm’s U.S.-based sales team with a goal of further extending the company’s senior living footprint.
