Seasons Living Names Mazurek as CIO

Seasons Living has appointed Dave Mazurek to the role of chief investment officer.

As CIO, Mazurek is working as a member of the company’s executive team. His primary responsibilities lie with business development, senior living sourcing and transaction execution initiatives and acquisitions. On the capital markets side, his work will include debt, equity and alternative financing for development or acquisition projects.

Mazurek has a long history working in the senior living industry. He is the former director of senior living for real estate firm Sterling Bay, and before that, he spent time with companies such as Ventas (NYSE: VTR).

Brookdale Names Chief Nursing Officer

Brookdale Senior Living (NYSE: BKD) has named Kim Elliott to the role of chief nursing officer.

Elliott moves to the executive leadership position after spending seven years as the company’s vice president of clinical services. She also previously worked at Centerre Healthcare and Kindred Healthcare.

Lutheran Senior Services Announces New President, CEO

Lutheran Senior Services named Adam Marles as the organization’s new president and CEO. Marles is currently the president and CEO of LeadingAge PA, and he officially starts his new role on Nov. 1.

Marles previously worked as senior vice president of advancement and strategic initiatives for Phoebe-Devitt Homes.

New Senior VP of Investments for Pathway to Living

Waterton has hired Justin Dickinson as senior vice president of investments for Pathway to Living, its senior housing arm.

Dickinson will in his new role oversee Pathway’s overall investment strategy, including acquisitions, dispositions and fundraising for senior housing transactions. He also will manage ground-up development activity and create investment strategies the provider can use on a national scale.

Before joining Pathway and Waterton, Dickinson worked as senior vice president of acquisitions/investments for Anthology Senior Living, which is the senior housing arm of CA Ventures.

Solvere Hires New VP of Accounting and Treasury

Solvere Living has named Luis Colon as its new vice president of accounting and treasury.

The new role will task him with optimizing the operator’s data outcomes and proficiencies, among other duties. Colon has more than 14 years of experience in accounting, and previously worked for companies such as Generations Healthcare Network.

Plante Moran Living Forward Promotes Timoteo to Principal

Plante Moran Living Forward (PMLF), the senior living division of Plante Moran Cresa, has promoted Jamie Timoteo to the role of principal.

Timoteo first joined the firm in 2009 as a financial analyst. He also helped grow the company’s senior living development practice in Chicago after the team was formalized under the Living Forward name in 2015.

Wharton-Smith Hires Project Executive With Senior Living Experience

Wharton-Smith Construction Group has hired Bryan Bernardo to the role of project executive in its central Florida commercial division.

As project executive, Bernado is responsible for business development, process improvement, and developing a team with a focus on growing Wharton-Smith’s senior living business line.

Oxford Finance Hires Managing Director

Oxford Finance has added Kevin Harbour to its healthcare services real estate and asset-based lending team as a managing director.

Harbour is now responsible for undertaking a range of duties that include developing new financial offerings, such as structured equity and acquisition lines of credit for health care companies; expanding Oxford’s asset-based lending platform in all health care sectors; and managing the company’s business development and underwriting teams.

Kevin has 18 years of health care lending experience and most recently worked at Wells Fargo Capital Finance.

LW Consulting Names Chief Revenue Officer

LW Consulting has promoted Seth Anthony to the role of chief revenue officer.

In his new role, Anthony will help source strategic partnerships among LWCI, vendors, and providers and align the company’s marketing, business development, sales and customer experience functions. He also is tasked with overseeing day-to-day operations of LWCI’s headquarters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
