MorningStar, Edgemark Plan Colorado Community
MorningStar Senior Living and co-developer Edgemark Development are planning to open a new senior living community in Centennial, Colorado.
The community, MorningStar Senior Living at Holly Park, is slated to have 160 independent living, assisted living and memory units. Planned amenities include an indoor saline pool, fitness and therapy rooms, a rooftop terrace, private courtyard, garage parking and four dining venues.
MorningStar and Edgemark co-own the community. If all goes according to plan, workers will break ground on the project in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Third Margaritaville On Tap in Northwest Florida
A Latitude Margaritaville community has opened a sales center and 13 model homes to preview its forthcoming 55-plus offerings in Panama City Beach, Florida.
The community, Latitude Margaritaville Watersound, is the third offering in the Latitude Margaritaville brand, which is inspired by the musical stylings of Jimmy Buffett. Its first phase is slated to include about 3,500 homes ranging in size from more than 1,200 to 2,500 square feet, with pricing in the mid $200,000s. Residents are planned to have access to amenities such as a town center and town square with a concert stage, a fitness center, pool with a swim-up “tiki island,” multiple dining venues, tennis and pickleball courts and a dog park.
The project’s development partners include master developer Minto Communities USA, Margaritaville Holdings and The St. Joe Company (NYSE: JOE).
Sunrise Communities Complete in New York, New Jersey
Construction is complete for two new Sunrise Senior Living communities located in Huntington Station, New York; and Summit, New Jersey.
In New York, Sunrise of Huntington has 108 beds for assisted living and memory care services with access to a wellness center, activity room and beauty salon. And in New Jersey, Sunrise of Summit 114 beds and lower-level parking for residents.
EW Howell Construction Group was the construction manager for both projects.
Revera Opens New Community in Alberta, Canada
Revera has opened The Scenic Grande, a new senior living community in Calgary, Alberta.
Amenities at the community include a saltwater swimming pool, virtual golf simulator, an art studio, wine cellar, fitness center, games room, a theater and multiple dining venues.
Phoenix Senior Living Community in Georgia Debuts Facelift
Phoenix Senior Living has announced the completion of a $1.6 million renovation project at The Retreat at Conyers in Conyers, Georgia.
The renovation project, which wrapped up in April, added to the 138-unit community new indoor and outdoor dining options, game room with shuffleboard and a pool table, space for arts and crafts, and an outdoor play area for kids.
Sayer Construction and 828 Interior Design Studio handled the eight-month construction project.
Income-Restricted Senior Housing Community in New Jersey Welcomes First Residents
Developer Walters announced that the first residents have moved in at Cornerstone at Greentree, an income-restricted senior housing community in Marlton, New Jersey.
The newly built four-story property has 68 one- and two-bedroom apartments, with rates for residents earning below 60% of the area’s median income starting at $850. Residents have access to amenities such as a community room, fitness room and common areas with internet access.
