Aegis Names Vice President of Clinical and Health Services

Aegis Living has named Constance Schein as the company’s new senior vice president of clinical and health services.

In her new role, Schein is tasked with leading Aegis’ nursing and care initiatives as the company moves toward a more integrated healthcare model and broadens wellness offerings. She also will manage and develop existing and new healthcare partnerships, source and implement technology and support the company’s general managers in hiring, developing, and retaining workers. She also will play a role in the development of wellness programming.

Schein previously worked as vice president of clinical and ancillary Services at Westminster Communities. She has more than 25 years of experience in nursing care overall.

Trustwell Names Senior Vice President of Business Development

Trustwell Living has named Joseph Solari to the role of senior vice president of business development.

In his new role, Solari will focus on off-market acquisitions of senior housing communities. Solari most recently worked for Capital Senior Living, where he was a vice president of corporate development.

Pennsylvania CCRC Names New CEO

Frederick Living, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Zieglerville, Pennsylvania, is welcoming Michelle Rassler as the organization’s new CEO.

Rassler starts her new role on June 28. She will for a period share her duties with current interim CEO Jeremy Kauffman.

Rasser comes to Frederick Living from Landis Communities, where she works as a vice president and executive director. She also has worked with Frederick Living as vice president of operations.

WellAge Names Vice President of Operations and Development

WellAge Senior Living has named Dana Andreski vice president of operations and development.

Her new role will task her with overseeing operations and development for the provider’s communities in Colorado, Oklahoma and Nevada. She is responsible for financial and administrative operations, executing quality business initiatives, program development and strategic growth planning.

Andreski first joined WellAge in 2018 and previously held the position of regional director of operations. She has more than 25 years of senior living experience overall.

Cadence Names Regional VP of Operations

Cadence Living has announced the appointment of Melissa Cole as vice president of operations for the company’s North Carolina region.

In her new role, Cole will have principal responsibility over operations of seven Cadence-managed communities in the Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Raleigh metropolitan areas.

Cole also has served in a similar role for Five Star Senior Living, and also worked in leadership roles for Sunrise Senior Living, Brookdale Senior Living (NYSE: BKD) and Brookshire Senior Living.

Solstice Adds Regional Sales and Marketing Director

Solstice Senior Living has hired Lisa Amber as the regional director of sales and marketing for the company’s South region.

In her new role, Amber will lead initiatives for 10 of Solstice’s 32 communities in Arizona, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Texas. She comes to Solstice from Allegro Living, where she worked as the assistant vice president of sales and marketing for the company’s South Florida region.

Buckner Names New Executive Director for Dallas Community

Buckner Retirement Services has named Danica McGuire as the new executive director of Ventana by Buckner, a high-rise senior living community in Dallas. Former executive director Chuck Childress is now the organization’s director of operations.

McGuire, who was previously the community’s associate executive director, will lead the 12-story, 189-apartment community. She has worked in the past as an assisted living director, activity director, marketing director and assistant administrator. She previously worked as an administrator with the Bivins Foundation.

Bellwether Appoints Senior Vice President of Senior Housing and Care

Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital announced that Taylor Mokris has joined the company as senior vice president of senior housing and care.

Mokris is tasked with helping to lead growth development and execution for Bellwether Enterprise’s senior housing and care mortgage lending platform.

Mokris joins the company with more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, including in relationship management, originations, underwriting and credit in different property and product types. Mokris previously worked as a vice president and credit officer in Wells Fargo’s senior housing group.

Lifespace Appoints General Counsel

Lifespace Communities has appointed Sandra Parker to the role of general counsel.

Parker has more than 25 years of experience, with knowledge that spans hospital administration, federal health care regulations, pharmaceutical manufacturing compliance and health data information.
