Lifespace Communities Appoints Chief People Officer

Lifespace Communities has named Nikki Kresse as chief people officer. The move is effective Monday.

As chief people officer, Kresse will lead human resources for the company and its 15 continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) in eight states. Kresse has more than 20 years of experience as a human resources leader.

Welltower Nominates Lopez, Patton to Board of Directors

Welltower (NYSE: WELL) has announced the nomination of Dennis Lopez and Ade Patton to serve on the company’s board of directors.

Lopez is the CEO of QuadReal, which has $58 billion Canadian dollars in assets under management. He also previously worked as chief investment officer for AXA Real Estate, where he chaired the firm’s equity and debt investment committees.

Patton is currently executive vice president and chief financial officer of HBO Max. He also serves on the private board of Root Sports Northwest, which is a joint venture between AT&T and the Seattle Mariners.

Welltower’s board also nominated the following incumbent independent directors: Chairman Kenneth Bacon, Karen DeSalvo, Jeffrey Donahue, Philip Hawkins, Diana Reid, Sergio Rivera, Johnese Spisso, Kathryn Sullivan, and the company’s CEO and chief investment officer, Shankh Mitra.

Bellwether Enterprise Names Stoll National Senior Housing and Care Director

Bellwether Enterprise, the commercial and multifamily mortgage banking subsidiary of Enterprise Community Investment, has hired Ryan Stoll to the role of national director of seniors housing and care.

In his new role, Stoll will create a specialized production team and grow the firm’s senior housing mortgage lending platform. He previously worked as executive director of national senior living at Fifth Third Bank.

Cadence Living Hires VP of Media and Marketing

Cadence Living has hired Randi Cohen to its corporate leadership team as vice president of media and marketing.

In her new role, Cohen will oversee all media and marketing strategy for Cadence and its portfolio of senior living communities.

She brings to the job 20 years of marketing experience, including overseeing branding and marketing strategy for Regency Park Senior Living.

Greystone Hires Director of Healthcare Acquisitions

Greystone has hired Andrew Morris as a director of healthcare acquisitions, with a focus on senior housing and skilled nursing.

In his new role, Morris is reporting to Arthur Hatzopoulos, corporate executive vice president at Greystone. He most recently worked as director of investments with Hana2.0 Property Group, and has also held other roles with Cascade Capital Group, Omega Healthcare Investors (NYSE: OHI), and GE Capital (NYSE: GE).

Oakmont Names Health Services Director for Community to Open in California

Oakmont Senior Living has named Lesley Muscha to the role of health services director for Oakmont of Lodi, a new community slated to open in July in Lodi, California.

Muscha most recently held the role of health services director for Prestige Senior Living. She has more than 40 years of nursing experience overall.

Erickson Community Names Dining Services Director

Erickson Living’s Highland Springs community in Dallas has appointed Branden Williams as director of dining services.

Williams comes to the role after working as director of dining services for Navarro College in Texas and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He also previously worked as dietary manager at Charleston Surgical Hospital.

EyeClick Hires Chief Revenue Officer for North America

Dennis Jakubowicz has joined EyeClick as the chief revenue officer for the company’s North America market.

His new role will task him with introducing “Obie,” an interactive projection product for older adults, to the senior care market.

Jakubowicz previously worked as general manager of senior living for Netsmart, a technology provider for post-acute and behavioral health providers. He’s also held executive roles with MatrixCare, OnSiteRx and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
