Presbyterian Senior Living Names New CFO

Presbyterian Senior Living (PSL) has promoted Dyan McAlister to the role of CFO. McAlister is succeeding current CFO Jeff Davis, who is retiring at the end of October after 22 years with the organization.

McAlister previously worked as PSL’s vice president of finance. In total, she has spent close to 22 years at the organization, and was involved in its expansion into affordable housing. She also had a hand in the affiliations of several communities.

McAlister first began her career in 1998 as an accountant.

The Springs Living Appoints CFO

The Springs Living has promoted Molly Vaughan to the role of CFO.

In her new role, Vaughan will help make strategic decisions as a member of the company’s executive management team. She is also tasked with leading The Springs Living’s financial operations, investor relations, technology, and accounting teams.

Vaughan has 15 years of financial experience. Before joining The Springs Living, she worked as CFO for a group of interior design firms in Denver.

Welltower Expands Board of Directors With New Member

Welltower (NYSE: WELL) has expanded its board of directors to 10 members, and elected Philip Hawkins as a director to serve on the board.

Hawkins currently works as executive chairman of Link Logistics Real Estate, the industrial real estate platform of Blackstone. His appointment is the latest on the board’s ongoing “refreshment process,” according to Welltower, and he is the seventh new director in the past four years.

Cadence Names Regional VPs of Marketing and Strategic Planning

Cadence Living has named Jim Thiede vice president of marketing and strategic planning for the company’s mountain region, and Matthew Owens as vice president of marketing and strategic planning in the company’s Mid-Atlantic region.

In his new role, Thiede will oversee strategic planning and building census for Cadence’s senior living communities in Arizona and Colorado.  He previously worked in senior marketing and sales roles with Brookdale Senior Living (NYSE: BKD).

Overall, Thiede has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, including 15 spent in the health care industry and more than five years in the technology sector.

Owens, meanwhile, will be responsible for strategic planning and census-building for five Cadence communities in Maryland and Virginia. He has 16 years of experience in sales and marketing in both the senior living industry and the hospitality industries, and previously worked at companies including Harmony Senior Services, Integrated Senior Living, Life Care Services, Holiday Retirement, Assisted Living Concepts and Marriott Hotels.

Claiborne Names New Sales Leader, Executive Director

Claiborne Senior Living has added Amber Potter to its corporate management team as a regional sales director, and Diane Moody as executive director of a community in Mississippi.

As regional sales director, Potter will oversee sales at the operator’s communities in Mississippi and Louisiana. She previously worked as national director of sales at Enlivant Senior Living.

Moody, meanwhile, is set to oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of The Claiborne at Gulfport Highlands in Gulfport, Mississippi. She comes to the role with more than a decade of experience in senior living, including as an executive director, assistant executive director and business office manager at Discovery Senior Living.

Massachusetts Community Names Executive Director

New Horizons at Marlborough, a senior living community in Marlborough, Massachusetts, has named Betsy Connolly as executive director.

Connolly had worked as the community’s deputy director since 2017. She succeeds Andy Eick, who left the position to relocate with his family to New York.

Dominion Names Campus Director for Kentucky Community

Dominion Senior Living has brought on Shauna Darbyshire as campus director of Dominion of Louisville and Everlan of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.

As campus director, Darbyshire will direct strategic growth initiatives, daily operations and the development and strengthening of community relationships. She most recently worked as a regional director of operations at Blake Management Group, and has about 13 years of senior living experience overall.

Integral Senior Living Names Vibrant Life Director in Kansas

Leawood Gardens, an Integral Senior Living community in Leawood, Kansas, is welcoming Deanna Holm as its new director of Vibrant Life.

In that role, Holm is tasked with helping to facilitate the community’s Vibrant Life program, which provides personalized daily enrichment activities for residents. She joins the community with more than 19 years of health care experience, most recently as a memory care activity director at Aegis Therapy.

Colorado CCRC Names New Resident Care Coordinator

Catherine Mancha is now the resident care coordinator of memory care at Grace Point, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Greeley, Colorado.

As resident care coordinator, Mancha will help develop care plans while managing and training the caregivers who work in the community’s memory care setting. She has about a decade of experience in the senior care industry.

Florida Life Plan Community Appoints Assisted Living Manager

Kimberly Anderson-Rieara is the new assisted Living manager at Cypress Cove, a life plan community located on the campus of HealthPark Florida in Fort Myers, Florida.

In her new role, Anderson-Rieara is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations at the community’s assisted living wing, The Inn at Cypress Cove, and its memory care counterpart, The Cottage at Cypress Cove.
