Wolff Sets Grand Openings for Communities in Washington, Idaho

The Wolff Company has announced forthcoming grand openings for two new independent living communities in Spokane, Washington; and Eagle, Idaho.

In Washington, Wolff is scheduled to hold a ribbon-cutting for Revel Spokane, an independent living community with 132 studio, one- and two-bedroom units for residents. The community comes with a salon and spa, fitness center, movie theater, and a restaurant and pub from celebrity chef Beau MacMillan.

And in Idaho, the company will on June 13 celebrate the opening of Revel Eagle, a community with 146 studio, one- and two-bedroom independent living residences. Like at Revel Spokane, amenities include a salon and spa, fitness center, movie theater, and a restaurant and pub from MacMillan.

The openings are part of Wolff’s plan to invest $300 million to $400 million annually in new developments.

WesleyLife Developing Community With Health System in Iowa

WesleyLife has partnered with the Genesis Health System on a new senior living community through their “WellSpire” organization in Bettendorf, Iowa.

The 172-unit community, called The Meridian, will include independent living, assisted living and memory care services along with short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. The community will reside next to a Genesis Health System “HealthPlex” and include design elements that reflect the surrounding area’s natural landscape.

MedCore, TNRG Plan Texas Community

MedCore Partners and The National Realty Group (TNRG) are collaborating on a new 225-unit senior living community in Georgetown, Texas.

The companies recently closed on a 13.1-acre tract of land near the south entrance of master-planned community Sun City. Planned amenities include multiple dining venues, a bar, wellness center with salon and spa, multiple venues for activities, a fitness center, club rooms, a theater, meditation garden, and a courtyard that connected to a pool with al fresco dining for residents.

Construction is slated to begin in January, 2020, with an anticipated opening date in the summer of 2021. MedCore and TNRG are also working on a second phase that will add 90 independent living residences to the project and bump up the unit count to 315.

Watermark Retirement Communities will manage the community when it opens. Other project partners include REES Architects, Studio Six5 and Pacheco Koch.

Work Starts for Blake Community in South Carolina

Construction is now underway for The Blake at Hollingsworth Park, a senior living community in Greenville, South Carolina.

Frampton Construction is building the 101-unit assisted living and memory care community, which will be managed by Blake Management and arrive with a movie theater, salon, dining room, card room, physical therapy clinic, and an enclosed courtyard.

Cardinal Ventures developed the community. Young, Wier & Boerner completed the design for the building, while Hoyt + Berenyi was the project’s civil engineer.Construction is expected to wrap up in the spring of 2020.

Chelsea Senior Living Opens New Jersey Community

Chelsea Senior Living has opened a new senior living community in Shrewsbury, New Jersey.

The community includes amenities such as a large lobby with an atrium and attached bistro, an open dining room concept and a tavern.

This marks the company’s 16th community open. By the spring of 2020, Chelsea expects it will have 21 properties.

Georgia Community Opens Memory Care Center

Sterling Estates of West Cobb, a senior living community in Marietta, Georgia, opened a new memory care center called The Grande at Sterling Estates.

The community has 36 resident suites and is a certified Center of Excellence, one of 30 in the U.S.

The Sterling Estates team, along architects Rule Joy Trammel + Rubio, LLC and memory care expert Dr. Zeisel, designed the community.

— RNT Development is looking to build a senior living community that would be operated by New Perspective Senior Living in West Bend, Wisconsin.

— A new senior living community may be in the works for Sugar Grove, Illinois.

— A developer plans to build a 191-unit senior living community in Chandler, Arizona.

— Developer Evergreen Walk has proposed building a 140-unit senior living community in South Windsor, Connecticut.

— Vacant land in Newark, Maryland, could eventually house a four-story senior housing complex with 144 units.

— Morning Pointe Senior Living is on track to open its sixth senior living community in Ooltewah, Tennessee.

— A new senior living community with 80 units is scheduled to open in Santa Clarita, California.
