The Springs Living Promotes Stubblefield to President

The Springs Living promoted COO Jay Stubblefield to president. Company Founder Fee Stubblefield, who held the concurrent titles of President and Chief Executive officer, will continue as CEO. As President, Leo will focus on the Company’s operational structure and systems, key measurements, and quality and performance predictability. His expanded role is especially important as the company finalizes construction on new, innovative senior living communities in Lake Oswego, Oregon and Bozeman, Montana, and undertakes major renovations on other properties in 2019.

SRI Management Promotes Kaiser to COO

Tallahassee, Florida-based SRI Management promoted Shelley Kaiser to Chief Operating Officer. She has been with the firm for 10 years, most recently as a senior vice president of operations

In her new position, Kaiser will monitor communities for potential opportunities and problems, strategize with division teams to offset deficiencies and maximize revenues, and queue the direction of the corporate sales force to provide tactical support to communities.

Erickson Living Retirement Community Names New Moving Consultant

Winsdor Run, an Erickson Living retirement community in Charlotte, North Carolina, named Amanda Bates as personal moving consultant. She previously served as Windsor Run’s events coordinator. In her new position, she will lead the realty and moving services program, designed to provide new residents with a seamless transition to the community, as well as offer customers individualized guidance on the logistics of their move and coordinate services with a preferred network of realtors, downsizers and senior move managers with vast experience in the Charlotte area.

Emerald Communities Hires VP of Development

Emerald Communities, sponsor of two innovative Washington senior living communities — Emerald Heights and Heron’s Key — has appointed George Lenes as Vice President of Development.

Mr. Lenes will lead all aspects of facilities project management and development for Emerald Communities, including planning and developing expansions for anticipated construction projects at Emerald Heights, as well as planning and execution of future expansion opportunities at Heron’s Key. His responsibilities also include seeking out new opportunities for acquisition, affiliation, provision of development services to other senior living organizations and Greenfield development for Emerald Communities.

Benchmark Names Executive Director for Massachusetts Community

Benchmark announced Susan Cohen Cwieka will serve as executive director for its new-concept Mind & Memory community, Adelaide of Newton Centre in Newton Centre, Massachusetts. The community is projected to open this summer.

Cwieka’s career as a highly recognized senior care executive spans more than three decades and includes leadership of four other sister Benchmark communities. Three are in Newton: Cabot Park, The Falls at Cordingly Dam and Chestnut Park at Cleveland Circle. She most recently oversaw the company’s $8 million remodeling investment in Benchmark’s New Pond Village community in Walpole, Massachusetts, where she served as campus executive director.

MBK Senior Living Hires VP of Sales/Marketing
